Good to hear Okur been working hard this offseason
It will pay off when he has more stamina to play more minutes, and also to be able to play up against some tougher opponents :)
Brewer getting bigger is also good, means he has more strength around the hoop, which is always good
We are gunna have an amazing season this season, i can feel it
Brewer, Deron, Milsap, Miles, Knight should all bring upgrades from last year's team.
I am excited to see who's year it is for our big 4. I gotta think Boozer will play big with his contract up in the air. If they all have on years, we could be in the finals.
I could see an AK return. It seems like the attack will be even more balanced this year with Brewer and Milsap improving. AK might feel right at home like FIBA play with 5 options on the floor. Defensively, he could look good as ever.
I predict an early start for AK and Boozer. Okur coming into form through December, and hopefully a Boozer return in March.
What makes you think Millsap is going to improve much? He didn't improve much last year.
Don't think so. He just doesn't play as hard as he once did.
We've talked before about Milsap. He's still young, and after the first plateau, I see improvement. If not for youth...what about being in a contract year.
Maybe he'll be less winded from the even balance of offense and be able to expend his energy on defense....actually, I admit, that has hurt him. When he is involved he become effective on both ends. Say he gets FIBA involved becuase his teammates are all so capable on the offensive side. You watched him this summer enjoy playing in that kind of flow. Utah will have one of the best 5 on the floor for the majority of the game. More than any reason though, he could break back into full form just because I beleive all 4 can carry the team.
