K-Pax: 8/10

I like this movie quite a bit. Very well acted leads in Kevin Spacey and Jeff Bridges helps drive this movie that is a great look at the mentally ill.... or is it about aliens? You have to watch to find out.

Hero: 10/10

One of my top 3 favorite movies of all time and my favorite Jet Li epic. Not only does it feature a fight between Jet Li and legend Donnie Yen, but it's a great story line and the soundntrack is bangin. Traditional style wuxia film, mixed with a little contemporary style... just brilliant.

9/10

One of the better sci-fi movies out there. Sam Rockwell did a great job in this. Very clever story and great directing by David Bowie's son (Duncan Jones). I think it's his debut film. He definitely has a future in film directing. Go rent it.

Demonoid.com mainly, but I'll look around a bit to find the best file. Demonoid is fairly reliable I think.

OH I totally forgot!

I finally saw the Hidden Fortress (I've been on an Asian film binge).

10/10 Akira Kurosawa may be the greatest director of all time.

Just finished The Box earlier this evening

I'll give it a 5/10... average. The premise was attention-grabbing, but the execution and ending didn't live up to what I had hoped for.

my buddy/pot dealer always get on my case about being a snob (for good reason), anyway he MADE me watch Pineapple Express.

7.3/10 - Funny, well written, good performances, i like stoner comedy but never a film I'd go out of my way to see.

I just finished 5 seasons of House and was brought to tears. You need to suck it up and watch it. In my opinion, the greatest television drama of the decade.

Goddamn, I love that f*cking show. Better than any movie I've ever seen.

The Blind Side -

The first hour and a bit was absolutely brilliant. Really emotional and grabbing.
The rest of the movie was good, but sometimes got a bit boring.

Otherwise it was a great film.

8/10

Can't bring myself to watch a series that originally aired on Fox. I don't think I've ever enjoyed one series (Arrested Development was cool, but immediately got canned) that ran on that network or any network really minus one fluke series that ran on ABC in 1990 (I'm talking within the past 25 years or so, their used to be quality network television).

You can't say House is the greatest television drama if you haven't seen The Wire, which is widely regarded as the greatest television series ever. Visionary literature my friend.

I downloaded the Wire complete series last night. It's fourth on my list right now after Lost/Twin Peaks/Rescue Me.

Meh, can't say I didn't try. House is the second TV show to illicit an emotional response. First being Fresh Prince of Bel Air [the episode where Will's father comes and leaves him, also, the last episode.]

You're too picky.

I know what I like. Can't believe you've never seen the Wire man! 'MarloStanfield' is a character on that show btw.

Twin Peaks and The Wire as far I'm concerned are the two greatest shows ever and complete polar opposites of one another.

You need an invite, they aren't too easy to come by unfortunately. You can still download stuff from the site without registering though I'm pretty sure, just can't register without an invite.
