Not sure how I'm going to rate it but I could not believe how this movie went down. I was in shock when the credits rolled.

I dig this movie. Not what I was expecting either. Based on true events too.

Nice to see that other people actually liked it. Seems like most people thought it was shit. The Reef is a similar movie out of Australia.

Inception

9/10

Finally saw it. Surely some areas where I question the plot but it was insanely intertaining. Great casting and acting all around. I think Leo deserves all the praise he gets and is one of the top actors out right now. Great concept and it is come incredibly interesting and complex subject matter. I might have to research the topic and maybe a few pschology electives because this I'm very interested in this topic right now. There was some definite pathos involved in this film with Leo's character and the ending was a nice cliffhanger. This movie had pretty much every thing I was looking for: emotion, action, complexity, ambition, etc. I liked Ellen Page for the most part but it was kind of odd how she was aan expert at damn near everything despite being the youngest member of the team. It was just one notch below a 10/10 for me.

I'm a bit fucekd up tho and I'll watch it again tomorrow. However, I doubt my review will change much , if any.

Scream 4: 4/10 The killers were more predictable than ever, and there were a lot of joke attempts that failed horribly (none worse than one delivered by Anthony Anderson). They set it up were it could have had an interesting/different ending from the other Scream movies, but instead tacked on an additional 10 minute scene that ruined the ending.

The Fog: 5/10 Completely mediocre horror movie. Nothing more to say about it.

if you are talking about the original, hang your head in shame cause its classic carpenter. the remake is apparently a huge steaming pile and 5/10 seems too generous

im glad others appreciate open water, i thought it was great. one of the better concept reliant horrors. also, i absoloutly loved the ending, that was a stroke of genius, the total hopelessness of the situation and the way she 'resolves' it- very sombre

Fallen Angels - 9/10. I just love wong kar wai's postmodernist meditation on life in urban cities.

Source code 6/10. The movie made sense on an emotional level but the story left too many holes and was somewhat incoherent to me. Anyone else watch this yet?

Just rewatched Inception and I'm gonna bump up my rating that one notch up to a 10. It was great to be able to watch a little more closely and play around with some of the theories in my head during the second viewing. It's got a lot of replay value for me too because I'm not sold on any one theory about the plot.

Which one do you believe the most so far?

Arthur-
actually very watchable, some nicely done drama and suprisingly restrained humour- the critical backlash is surely anti brand agenda, this was actually pretty good.
7/10

I agree. I dont like Brand very much, and he played the role well.

Probably that it was all a dream of Leo's during the plane ride and it was all a result of him getting over the loss of his wife. I have some doubts tho and like other ones like Leo is actually lost in limbo and his wife is trying to free him.

I like the analogy of it representing Nolan's film making process and the shared experience of a false reality that movie-goers are involved in.

Just a really fascinating and incredibly well made movie.
