I'm not one of them. I know what you're talking about though, when Betsy gets in the cab that scene is very visceral, like It's a dream, and I think Scorsese probably did that on purpose to leave the ending ambiguous and open for interpretation.
*must not have bad thoughts about teenage Jodie Foster*
Is this how you wanna make it?
Yep, interpretation is a huge part in films, just like in music where musicians rarely explain their lyrics for sake of the listeners' own imaginations.
This was definitely an excellent movie. It was a bit slow in some parts, though, which is why I can't give it a complete 10/10.
Denzel Washington plays an up-and-coming boxer who is charged with a murder he didn't commit. He writes a novel about his life, which draws the attention of a young African-American male who lives with Caucasian Canadians. The Canadians and the young boy try their best to get an appeal for Hurricane.
The movie is very interesting overall. Plus, it's based on a true story, which has been exaggerated just a bit, so that makes it just a bit more interesting, IMO.
I'm going to check this out man thanks. "buying" it right now.
I just watched Fallen, and I'll give it a solid 7.5/10. Nice paranormal thriller overall, nothing really stood about but then again there was not much to complain about. The only thing that irked me was that stupid "demon view". It was quite unnecessary and looked pretty cheap. I liked Denzel, probably the best I've seen of him, along with Training Day. John Goodman was also good as a supporting actor.
I also watched There will be blood yesterday, and it's a 9.5/10 in my book. Just an outstading film. Daniel Day-Lewis was just immense, probably one of the best performances by an actor I've ever seen.
Checking this out now as well.
Captain America - 6/10 I liked it.. did Chris Evans really look that skinny?
