I didn't do it to flame you relax, I was going through old pages and shit to see some good ratings to find new movies to watch. How was this movie enjoyable though? He was in one place the entire time doing nothing.

Mean Streets: 9/10

My favorite movie of the 70's. I can relate to it because I be doing the same shit at times as the characters.

gf wanted to watch these today...

Brother Bear - 6/10. Liked the spiritual importance as well as the nature in the film, wasn't amazing or anything but good.

Brother Bear 2 - 5/10. Seemed like this was made just to have a sequel, didn't stand out at all.

Rounders - with Matt Damon 8/10 very solid movie will watch it again in the future. Those who know Poker will like it even more, but its very entertaining drama.

Grave Encounters: 4/10. Definitely a do not watch. They spent the entire movie building up suspense (not even very much), to have a really shitty ending. Could not have been more disappointed.

Hobo with a shotgun: 7/10. I enjoyed it. It was a change of pace movie that you don't see every day.

8.6/10

This isn't out yet in the US, but came out in France last year. I just watched it on a streaming site, and some French guy made subtitles.

It's a damn good movie. It's a feel good drama with quite a bit of humor. Basic plot of a quadriplegic man and his unlikely assistant. You see their friendship build, it's hopeful, and just flat out works. (Based on a true story as well)

Directed really well, looks great, and Omar Sy was f*cking amazing as the assistant.

I'd recommend checking this out.

Definitely on my to-see list after I caught the preview before Moonrise Kingdom. It's coming to the Indie theater by me, so I'll make sure to catch it then.

The Amazing Spider-Man: 7.5/10

I actually liked this one more than the other spiderman movies, I still don't get why he needed that mechanical device to shoot the web. I thought he was a spider.

The adventures of Buckaroo Bonzai Across the 8th Dimension: 6/10- Well I can certainly understand why this is a cult classic. It is an entertaining movie, but you'll never see me praise it. When it drifts into satire it's great, but sometimes you can't tell what it's doing. And when it does drift into satire, well... it's been done better. There just isn't much to say about this one and that's a bummer.

If ever were there a movie that I felt deserved a second crack at it it's this one. A reboot of this I think would work. We've seen sci-fi action/satires work (even 3rd installments of such franchises, following what many believed to be a franchise killing sequel, turn out to work quite well. *Cough* Men in Black *Cough*).

In fact the thing that I got most out of this movie was my brother and I trying to come up with a movie today. Would we reboot the whole thing? Make another 8th Dimension movie? Would we try to do the sequel that they talk about at the end?

I thought about picking the series up in present day. You can get the original cast as winks to the hardcore fans. The gang has split up and gone on to have normal lives while they leave their adventuring in the hands of someone else, my best idea was the kid from the movie. He goes on to be the new Buckaroo, and we pick up with his adventure but something makes it necessary for him to round everyone up again.

Anyway, if you are a sci-fi fan I'd say see this movie just because it's considered a must see. But I personally thought it was okay.
