Winters Bone is definitely worth watching.. its kind of slow, methodical in certain parts but dont let that dissuade you.. its really good with great performances.

Got home from the movies and dl'ed that leaked Django screener for a 2nd viewing... its just a excuse me ****ing blast from start to end, unbeliavable.... i really expected less due to Jamie Foxx, but he was actually very fitting, once you are done with the movie you couldnt (and wouldnt want to) imagine that character being someone else.... and Christoph Waltz, my god, steals the scenes yet again just like in Inglourious Basterds.... i gave it 9 / 10, thinking this could have been done better... but then i thought, really now? How? Well, maybe throw in a pit fight between a Tiger & Lion or so?

I think this might be the best QT movie since Pulp Fiction

Taken 2

So, I may be the lone dissenting opinion so far, but I actually enjoyed it. Yea, the movie definitely has plotholes, but I didn't come into this movie expecting an Oscar-worthy performance. I really enjoyed the first one, and while this one operates along the same lines, it was just different enough for me to like it.
I wanted to see an hour and a half of Liam Neeson fuckng people up, and that's exactly what I got. If you're able to occasionally suspend disbelief, it's an entertaining action flick.

I don't know, he was awesome don't get me wrong, but Leo MURKS every scene he's in and to me was the standout. In order of chewing up scenery and stealing scenes:

Leo
Sam Jackson
Waltz

The trio when on screen was awesome sight to behold.

The hell, why are a lot of your posts copied and pasted from somewhere else?

You weren't bothered by the fact that Neeson moves slow as a turtle and they move the camera fast to make it look like he is moving faster, but it is obvious he wasn't?

Leo/Waltz (tied)
Django

What did you think of the pacing of this movie, the fact that it jumps around in time so much and then seems to linger at times?

How familiar with Bin Laden raid were you? Did you read any accounts of it?

I think I might have been too familiar with the material, because I loved the way the end scene was filmed, but I actually didn't find it too dramatic.

Django Unchained - Slave owners getting got, the beautiful Kerry Washington, smooth as ever Jamie Foxx, and a happy ending. What more can one ask for? Everyone played their parts very well. I don't have any complaints. I only wonder what was up with the white woman with the bandana over her face; i was expecting more of this mysterious character but nothing came of it. I don't know how anyone can complain about the violence; if you already know who made the movie, you should expect nothing less. Maybe there are some valid complaints to have, but i got more than what i expected. An instant favorite. 9/10

Been watching a lot of movies the past few days...

Kill Bill vol. 2 - 8/10 - There was certainly less action in this one, but it made for a lot of drama and tense moments with the methodical and slow approach. Thurman just owned this role way too good, loved her every bit of the way.

Fantastic Mr. Fox - 8/10 - One of the most unique films I have ever seen. The animation with the animals was especially cool. Clooney is a personal favorite so loved him. My second Wes Anderson film viewing after seeing Moonrise Kingdom the other night...gotta say I really like his style. Great film, please see.
