Only one Best Picture nominee left to watch for me, Les Miserables. Can't say I'm looking forward to watching 2.5 hours of a musical but I'll give it a shot.
Best so far: Life of Pi
Worst so far: Silver Linings Playbook (solid overall, just not as good as all the others)
I saw Les Miserables on Broadway a long time ago (I think I went with my school) and I'm not a musical guy either, but a few of the songs have still stuck in my head to this day. The finale is a really rousing, miltary march.
Just read it's coming back to Broadway for a third time, there's a reason for that...it's quite good. Haven't seen the movie.
Dam that bad? I couldn't stand the original. I downloaded it once by mistake. I was looking for Rescue Dawn... I tried watching it anyways, just for the hell of it but it was just worthless. It's everything that I hated in bad 80's movies.
I mean, maybe if you're into watching movies strictly to laugh at gaping, not even plotholes, just general OK WHAT THE ****?, type stuff. But yeah, save the 90 minutes of your life.
Bloody hell, you're the worst troll this board has seen in a long time.
No doubt the movie sucked, but just like all the other movies you attempt to "seriously" review it's clear as ****ing day you're a RL idiot and online troll. Your act is tried, and been tired since South America broke apart from Africa. Please just stop.
How the hell am I troll when all I am doing is giving an honest opinion about the movie I last watched. Who the hell would like Beowolf. You? Really? Damn sorry I hurt your feelings. Didn't know you liked seeing Anthony Hopkins naked THAT MUCH to actually get mad when someone criticizes the movie.
It is a piece of sh*t. Sorry. I hated it. Y'know what, I actually hate it even more now because of the idea that there are fanboys (like yourself) out there who would defend it to the death. I thought this was a universal opinion within the general population. I guess seeing a lot of nude men is a thing for some guys out there *cough cough*

Les Miserables was a chore to sit through. What a waste of what I think were good sets except that I couldn't tell because nearly every damn shot was a close-up of an actor's face. Anything scene that didn't have Hugh Jackman in it was unbearable. Too damn long.
The best picture noms, IMO:
1. The Life of Pi
3. Django Unchained
4. Beasts of the Southern Wild
5. Zero Dark Thirty
8. Silver Linings Playbook
9. Les Miserables
