450-500 million is not a lot more than what the OKC group ended up paying when you look at sales price, loses incurred while they were still in Seattle and the cost of buying out the lease. You're certainly not going to be able to find a team that can be moved any time soon for less and it's all relative anyway. Ballmer could pay that and not bat an eye.
So if your point was to illustrate that the deal isn't doable, the fact is with Johnson facing mounting financial loses with no end in sight, it's not only doable, it's a very real possibility.

" which was of course a ridiculous exaggeration and then you turn right around and admit that the only thing keeping the Bobcats in Charlotte is the large buyout clause in the lease.
