Nice signing. It's gonna be tough for him to make the active roster though. Probably will be sent to the D-league for most of the year.

What bad can happen with this signing? We know either Mckie or Wafer are gone which is good enough.

Sending Pinnock to the d-league is probably the best option for the Lakers. Let him continue to develop his game. Hopefully, he can develop into a scorer the Lakers can bring off the bench.

I am actually surprised they signed him... perhaps they have D-League plans for him. He was good, but not spectacular from what I saw in the SPL.

I'm very curious to see how this one plays itself out.

Even if he plays D league ball I will be happy either way...i just want him to stay with us.

He will be a success on the D fenders

I did not notice that his defense was spectacular... again, he was a good player, but he did not light up the court, as Devin Green did. He will likely not make a Lakers roster spot.

Perhaps I did not see enough of him playing.

I saw him play at the SPL and was immediately impressed, I grabbed my program to see who the hell that guy was. He is a very aggressive defender, goes to the hole strong and has a nice shot along with great court awareness. He can do for us what Raja Bell did for the Suns, this is one deal Kupcake actually got right...you'll see.

I hope your right, everyone is talking about how aggressive his defense is.

If thats the case I dont see why phil cant give hm some time this year if he ends up making the active roster.

The problem with the lakers is they sign any unheard PG out of the NBDL or the CBA and they pay them to play Defense even though theyre defense isnt known for.

Shoot, some people forget that you have to LEARN how to play defense first.

Other Bad Choice.

- Mitch Kutpak always select Bad Palyers.

- If we Have to Develop a Player so Why select it?

- Not better to obtain a player that know how play and do not we have that to Develop ?

Well you never know...this might pay off. he's a rookie that has impressed the coaching staff.

I think the youth movement will do great.

r u talkin about pinnock cuz I think we got him in a trade w/ DET but um, he was a 2nd round draft pick n not many 2nd rounders r exactly gems or anything, basically just roster spots in case of injury...ocassionally u get a gilbert arenas....
