So, I've been wondering is it just me who finds this irritating and a bad thing in Madden or NBA 2k8. You actually can't play a full season with current rosters
. There is no way! So why even bother to make roster updates. First of, when you start a new franchise in Madden or NBA 2k8, the first thing CPU makes is sign players from free agency. Not to your team but in those others. For example, you might end up with Strahan playing in Broncos or Ty Law in Texans. Now how real is that and I haven't found how to make this impossible.
Second thing is that CPU updates depht charts for other teams, not to the one you are playing. So for example Tom Brady is out for the season and if you have him in depht chart at 3rd QB, CPU moves him to 1st so he's starting. Once again how real is this cause Brady actually doesn't even play this season. Same with Merriman. And in NBA it makes the similar update. Last season Ginobili was the Spurs sixth man and when you start the season or franchise the CPU moves him automaticly to the starting five.
So is it just me how doesn't like this and actually want's to play with real time depht charts and rosters? Only way Madden and NBA 2k8 keeps rosters up to date is play exhibition games.
Correct me if I'm wrong or you agree with me.
Same thing is with NBA2k8 and propably with 2k9. The last sports game I've been able to play season without these problems has been NBA Live 06
