Re: Players who will do better
I like your list, I have Duhon on one of my teams and captain Jack on the other.
Anyway these are my solid picks for improvement:
Kevin Martin - Undisputed #1 option in Sac now. He will be taking a lot of shots
Gerald Wallace - He put up pretty good numbers last year, I think they are going to get better.
Jose Calderon - He gets the point all to himself, a trip to the gold medal game, and he also gets a new big man to feed under the basket. I think he could be the 3rd best fantasy PG this year.
Andrew Bogut - He showed a big improvement last year, and he has the tools and space to continue to grow. Hope he works on his FT %.
These are my riskier picks. Higher risk/reward.
Corey Maggette - He is a tossup. He might struggle in the new Warriors system, but I think a scorer like him will put up huge numbers with the Warriors.
Andris Biedrins - This kid shows a lot of potential, but Nellie doesnt let him play big minutes. He has shown solid improvement in his ugly looking FT shooting, he has shot an insane 63% on FG to make up for it, and if he will definitely get 10rpg.
Raymond Felton - He definitely has the tools to put up good numbers, will he find his place on a team? Who knows.
Rudy Fernandez - I am convinced that this guy is the real deal. I am not convinced that he will get real minutes.
Jeff Green - Playing in Durants shadow may well be a good thing for Green, because he gets less attention by the defense. He has skills, and he should have plenty of opportunities to score. He just doesnt quite strike me as a sure thing though, which is why I put him on the risk list.
Mikael Peitrus - Once again, it all depends on minutes. I think if someone gave this man a chance, he would produce. There was a stint where he started for the warriors for a few weeks last year, and he had some great numbers during that time. I think he has skill, but will Orlando give him a chance?
