Its not a terrible trade though. I like the youth were picking up in Outlaw. He's a solid perimiter defender and rebounder, and very athletic. Both players give us more size.

God no. I wouldn't trade Beasley alone for that. Beasley > Aldrige, by a lot.

Come on you can't be seriuos here. I thought it would be a good trade because i thought that Heat fans wanted to get rid of Marion. And Aldrige is already a proven future All-Star, Beasley hasn't played a real NBA game yet.

Yeah, some people are overrating our team.

Beasley so far has looked like a natural scorer in the NBA. I honestly believe he wont have a problem matching the scoring ability of Aldridge (~17PPG)... if not surpassing that number in the next few seasons. The key is whether he will learn to be a good defender and rebounder. I think the Heat will atleast try and develop him over 2 years before they entertain any trades. He's still only 19 yr's old. He has the atletic ability to be very good, and can learn alot.

I really like Outlaw though. He's a guy I wouldn't mind picking up. I think he has potential to be a 15PPG, 7REB on a nightly basis once used as a starter in the our system.

I say No-the Matrix is a stud and the Rook is going to perform this year. Aldridge is good but the rest of that is filler. Stick with what you got

It's not that we want to get rid of him, it's more of the fact that we probablly aren't going to pay him what he wants when he becomes a free agent. Trading him would only be if we got a deal that we jsut cound't refuse. otherwise, we would probablly just take the cap releif.

I would rather have Beasly then Aldrige. Beasly is a great scorer and is exactly what we need to help D wade out. Some one who can create his own shot and help take some of the scoring load off of wade's shoulders.

like this no...

but take out beasley.....and maybe; lafrentz' contract is up, and aldridge would be a perfect fit for the heat.

the trade wouldnt make much sense for the blazers though in my opinion...

why would they trade away aldrige??

he's risen to an all-star level, is still young, and behind him they wouldnt have much more quality depth...
and his salary is quite managable.

plus, what would the blazers want with marion? yes he's a great complimentary player, but they have a strong rotation and scary amount of talent- no need for him and his salary ( allthough it would likely drop with a new contract..)
