Question Q. Ross?

Q: Will Ross make the team? Why is he playing with a non-guaranteed contract? Marc Iavaroni: The goal this season was to employ only 13 players, so as to not spend more money than needed or stunt the growth of any young players. That is, until Ross became available. It's hard to imagine the Griz not keeping a defensive dynamo in the prime of his career. Cutting Ross would be a mistake and a cheap one at that. Ross, on a league-minimum contract, would only cost the Griz around $500,000. Iavaroni will desperately try to convince management to keep Ross, a quality backup at shooting guard and small forward.

I hope they keep him. He is the only bright spot on the bench right now.

Hell, it is the second time we have a reliable player in defense and we find that the coach is again not sure if the management will keep him. At least this time he seems interested in the player, not like when they released Kinsey. That's amazing.
