Default A little help with a trade..

I was offered maggette/redd for A.I./hinrich.

Pg - Jason Kidd
Sg - A.I.
g - T.J. ford
Sf - Marion
PF - Al Thornton
F - grant hill
C - Tyson Chandler
C - Bynum
utl - Beno udrih
utl - Hinrich
bn - Kleiza
bn - Rajon Rondo
bn - Haslem

I'm leaning towards accepting just because I need another scorer forward and a big three point shooter in REDD. I don't like the fact that Grant Hill is starting on my team either. The assist situation will be alright because I still have JKidd, T.J. Ford, Rondo and udrih to keep me afloat. I think Maggette is gonna score more because he's gonna live at the free throw line with golden state.

What do you guys think?

It's ok...not great. Couldn't you get more for AI? Couldn't you get Granger for Iverson perhaps if you need 3's. I'd worry about Maggette coming off a contract year also and Redd playing for Skiles. You know what you're going to get with Iverson, who is in a contract year. It's easy to pick up 3' for me, dealing an elite PG for a SG is a bad move.

But for your starting roatation, it's really Hill, AI, Hinrich for Redd, Cory and Rondo. That's also a lot of dimes for you to give up.

Just seems if you want scoring, why deal your best scorer to get it. I know you're increasing scoring...but still.

Im assuming you're talking about A.I - Allen Iverson, not Iquodala
Therefore I think that out of this deal;
You don't really get that many more threes overall..and you will probably have about the same overall scoring with either pair.
You will be losing far too many asists...and steals for that matter...
so no I do not think this deal is worth it.
