Calling Salmons a Sleeper is like calling the sky blue ..it's obvious!..We all have something to base our prediction on . John played well when Artest was out last year, and now that Artest is gone he's left to do it again. Not really a stretch choosing him as a sleeper..

What about Brook Lopez..now there's a sleeper!

Now he is starting on the Suns and his minutes will nearly double...

These are his numbers from last year per 36 minutes (starter quality minutes)

12.4 PPG
8.2 RPG
3.5 APG
1.2 SPG
0.9 BPG
2.2 TPG

Yeah...lifetime scrub

Oh and in 06-07 he averaged 9 points, 4 boards, 2 assists in 24 minutes and only eight shots per game.

If you had actually watched GSW games you would know about Barnes' erratic play and tendency to make bone headed plays. He brings energy and toughness, but is terribly inconsistent from game to game.

I wouldn't get too carried away with Barnes.

I believe it was 2 years ago when Barnes was a better fantasy option than LBJ for over a month, funny times.

Marc Gasol is going to tear it up. Also, Ramon Sessions. Watch out for him.

Ramon Sessions? Hr's a back up in Milwaukee and won't score enough or rebound enough to do anything worth while besides MAYBE get you five assists a game.

Hmm...

I don't know about Francisco Garcia.

Kevin Martin and John Salmons look like they will be eating up minutes at the wings but if one goes down then he would be a great option for points and threes made.

I've had a huge man crush on Garcia since his college days. Although I'm young I loved watching him play. He's been one of my favorites even though the lack of minutes. I would like to see him get starter minutes somewhere and flourish.

I grabbed Barnes with my last pick.

I think he'll put up enough stats to stay on my team as well.

Another sleeper is Speights (sp?). Rumor is he may end up starting at Center for Philly... and he's looked good in preseason.

A starting SF, a starting PF/C, a now (he is a starter at the 3 now right?) starting SF, are your sleepers?

Hakim Warrick is my sleeper of choice. I have no idea how Memphis's rotation has looked this preseason, not that it matters. They're going to suck and every one will get their chance to carve a starting role. Look at his numbers after the Pau trade when he started at the 4. Gasol's a fullbred 5, the Iranian guy I have no clue about, but you've got to figure on his minutes being deferred to Warrick at least in the first 1/3 of the season or so at the 4 spot. Darko's a solid category guy in deep leagues, but I can't see him getting consistent enough minutes to contribute on a consistent basis.

Reports out of Memphis is that Gasol/Darko will start against bigger opponents right now and Gasol/Warrick or Arthur will start against smaller opponents. He even went as far as saying they need Arthur in the rotation and if he doesnt start he might fall out hinting that he might end up starting eventually.

I did like Warrick to start the season but he looks like hes kind of in the dog house this year.

Starting over Dalembert? Not a chance in hell.

Apparently Dalambert is having knee issues that may effect him all year. Their coach also stated recently that he has no problem starting a rookie who shows he can play.

Just a hunch. I'm keeping my eye on Speights as an end of the roster player for sure.

I would own Barnes over Hill. Terry Porter said Hill is going to be limited to 25 minutes at the most per night.
