i assume weekends are best for most people, so with that in mind im gonna post the next weekend date im available and down to lace em up and others can follow suit. hopefully we can get this ball rolling.
next saturday, 2/21, i have off from work and will head up to North Hollywood Park. Anyone who's available that day and wants to meet up there is welcome. i dunno what time im gonna go yet so i'll have to post that at a later date but im available all day so if theres a time that works better for others, post it so we know.
so Saturday the 21st is a working date for now, at least for me. obviously you guys can head up sooner if it works for you, but that saturday is what im gonna shoot for so anyone else who's down can plan accordingly.
if you don't mind a laker fan who also likes the clippers i'll come. no ass whoopings please.
edit- i never come to the team forums, i came here to track down dab0yech0 to ask about LA rec leagues (If any of you know about how I <and possibly a couple friends if the team is short multiple guys> could get on a team please PM me, looking for weekend league but open to hearing about anything), so if you guys are going to play and want me to join shoot me a PM.
Just contact rec leagues to see what they offer for adult league games. I'm constantly at Delano Recreation Center and adult league won't start until April there, same with most centers, due to the Valley All-Star Tournament going on during March.
That site has a bunch of pickup games going on, no league ones, but its organized pickup and it costs 5-10 bucks a day you go.

Weekends are generally the best, but damn this one. I got my championship game to coach
Minors at the rec league closest to me, and assistant coaching a juniors girls team. I'm about to start reffing within the year($20 a game, more when/if I decide to go to high school games in a couple of years)
Lately with school my schedules been jacked up but heres where I play at:
Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1PM til whenever at Yosemite Rec Center its in the Eagle Rock area
Saturdays from 12PM til whenever at Elysian Valley Rec Center, its right by Elysian Park near Dodger Stadium
I'll be able to make it on 2/21 to this North Hollywood Park you guys are speaking about. Is it a indoor court? I'll add this as an alert to my phone so I remember. 2/21 it is.

hmmm Which park is it that we are talkin about?
The one in magnolia? I'm not sure but its around the h.s. and by a library?
Because there are a few parks in north hollywood that come to mind.
(Pacific, North Wedington, Victory/vineland,James vanderbeek, and one on magnolia)

I'm assuming he's talking about the one by the library which is right next to the North Hollywood Station for the Orange and Red Lines and is at the entrance of the 170 FWY(or is it the 134?). They have a pair of outdoor courts and an indoor, but I'm confident it won't be open gym on Saturday as most recreation centers are gearing up for All-Star season.
Best competition in the West Valley is at Valley Plaza, mainly after 5pm on Weekends, some solid players.

I just came from there..lol
It's been a while.. and i felt rusty..
The competition was pretty weak..
At Victory/Vineland (less than 5 min away).. it used to get good, but all the guys that used to go there(Including myself) all stoped going because of schoo/work or both..
But Everytime I went to valley plaza it was pretty weak.. idk..
