Default Is the NBA and Referees unfair to the Nuggets?

Is the thug image hurting the Nuggets?

I'm not sure how many of you live in Colorado, but today I was listening to the Scott and Al show on 104.3 the fan and they spoke about this subject.

I do believe the NBA and its officials are having a bias opinion on our team, and I just can't stand it. If a player or coach says anything they'll be fined. Yes, I know Jr, A.I., Melo, K-Mart, and Andersen and others have been through a cloudy past, but is there anyway to stop this madness?

What are your thoughts on this subject? Hopefully I won't be getting find for saying this.

Yes I think they are, at least subconsciously but to what extent I don't know.

Yes

I've heard for a while about NBA being rigged, never payed it any attention

But now I'm paying it close attention. Last year was setup before the 2nd half of the season even started

L.A Vs. Boston

L.A was obviously not going to make it without Bynum, then they get Gasol for nothing. Makes no sense. More than a coincidence

Denver doesn't have any more "thugs" than any other team. I think it's more of a bias towards the home team in general, not specific teams.

Being an amazing team is no coincidence. The lakers were just that good, and the celtics were just that much better.

If anything was set up, it would've made the finals go 7 games to get more money.

I dont think it's a league wide conspiracy I just think that the refs don't like the Nuggets

Remember when Melo got back after the brawl? EVERY call went against him.

Against the Jazz, refereeing was poor. Nene shouldnt have fouled out, 6 calls were too much.

And all the violations & stuff...

I think its just refs being based towards home teams. especially when it comes to descisions which are 50 - 50 or not sure of , they will favor the home team.

Any other team the refs would of swallowed their whisles but never the Nuggets. The lane violation and the last foul on Nene were jokes!

it looks like the refs are unfair to us because we make so many stupid fouls like reaching in when there is no need to or hammering a guy on a layup when all they need to do is go for a block.

Couldn't disagree more. With camby gone, we have no decent shot blocking. I'll gladly take a hard foul to make them earn 'em at the line than going for a block and possibly giving them a 3 point play.

Not neccessarily the Nuggets... but Melo. He doesn't get superstar respect like a Lebron, when he's a superstar too. Don't know why... they've just never really been fair to him sometimes.

i'm okay with hard fouls, but when we hard foul a guy it means taking them out in midair or grabbing them by the arm and pulling them down. that has no place in the nba.

A hard foul to me means just not letting them make the shot no matter what. Not necessarily putting anyone in danger since you're still making a play for the ball.

Did you hear last night when chris marlowe was talking about JR getting more respect in the nba from refs?
