Default Kevin Martin / buy low?

Is he a great buy low candidate right now? I talked a bit with another owner and if I can get him for Gerald Wallace, that's a steal for me right?

Any reason why he won't at least perform as well as last year? I know Salmons has a bigger role but Artest is gone too.

Yeah that would be a good return for you. I was never a big fan of Kevin Martin but if you can get him for Gwall I would take it.

I like Wallace better, but Kevin Martin is the primary scorer and Wallace has a bad injury history. Either way you would be good...I guess it depends on your teams strengths and weaknesses. Are you in H2h or Roto? What's the rest of the team look like?

PG Andre Miller
SG Mike Miller
G Luol Deng
SF Josh Smith
PF Kevin Garnett
F Gerald Wallace
C Elton Brand
C Marc Gasol
Util Rajon Rondo
Util Al Thornton
BN Rudy Fernandez
BN Andray Blatche
BN Manu Ginobili

H2H 9 standard cats 12 teams

I think that if I'm good with STLS I should do this trade, do you think I am? Cause I could see the FT% really helping since no one on my team shoots very high volume FTs.

Based on your team, Kevin Martin is a good fit.

Problem with Martin is that he is shooting a ton of 3's....which is driving down his FG%. If his FG% gets to the 44% range, he's not much better then a Redd type of player. His FT attempts are way down, because he's launching 3's. And his TOs are way up. Martin's efficiency made him a fantasy elite.

I just hope he isn't trending the way so many players....less attacking and more jumpers.

I agree, maybe you can wait a few more games and see how his numbers are looking.

I'd want KMart over GWall anyday. Take the deal IMO.
