i have felt very strongly that the team had never made moves to complement carmelo (wich i believe is the right thing to do)- billups imo makes the whole team better, especially melo- w ac & iverson the entire defense can clog the lane because there is no need to cover the 3 point line- now w billups & jr they cant leave them to help down unless they want chauncey & jr shooting open 3's

sad to hear mcdyss wont come back- how does that work? if he is paid off now is he still on the cap next year? i really think he could have been a perfect 3rd big, but either way im still happy

imo this team badly needed a pg and a captain, and chauncey fills both roles- it is now on carmelo & jr to step up & i think they will- neither melo or iverson have the mentality of a vocal leader- billups will play that role

the only part i dont get was what changed dumars mind now? wasnt this the same deal proposed this summer?

b b b b billups
Was that really necessary?

I wonder if the announcer at pepsi center will say that haha. Detroit always had the best intros.

I'm glad I got to see AI's last home game as a nugget live...even though he performed terribly

this needed to happen. i respect ai as a player, but it was apparent that our team just needed a change, way too many wing scorers, and all of them young besides allen. i wish him the best in detroit, but i'd take chauncey over him in a heartbeat.

look now i know everyone is heaps devo about this one but hey look on the bright side at least we now have a legit pg and captain hahahaha and i no u would have loved to see karls face when he realized he now has to start j.r hahaha
but to me there feels like there is a piece of the puzzle missing
so i definitely think another trade has to go down
some thing that involes a legit center for a few bench power fords and this Cheikh Samb person hhahaha
mabe a trade for brad miller or Samuel Dalembert or even LaMarcus Aldridge
there a missing piece and its out there somewere

billups/AC/atkins
J.R/jones/weems
melo/kleiza/balkman
k-mart/mcdyess/bridman
nene/hunter/samb

SOMETHING IS MISSING

Samb, 7-1, 245, has not appeared in a game this season. He averaged 1.8 points in four games with Detroit last year. He also played 20 games with Fort Wayne of the NBA Development League during the 2007-08 season, posting averages of 10.4 points and 6.8 rebounds.

Can anybody say" Steven Hunter's evil twin"

we need a center. the roster looks empty because of camby. if we can get someone to play in the middle besides nene we will be fine. i'm looking through trade ideas right now.

would you guys do steven hunter and chucky atkins for eddy curry? i know he's trash right now but he could have a career revival in a new situation. and plus we are not giving up anything important.

it'll be really difficult to match up a trade for him. i just threw out the eddy curry idea, but i'd like someone with more impact than him. it seems like we are slowing the game down this year though, so curry could be a solid addition to our team.

Got a question for all you Nuggets experts.. Could this rift between the Nuggets and AI be fuled by the fact that he was upset at NOT being voted as a captain by his teamates! Just giving you some food for thought
