Does JR start now?
Billups
Smith
Melo
Martin
Nene
is that the starting lineup after this trade? Or are the Nugs still trying to keep JR to the bench and start Carter?

If they start Carter at the 2, I will kill myself. Maybe kleiza, but I'm hoping for JR.

Don't see why not. If he doesn't, Karl is assassinated. Consider it done.

Re: Does JR start now?
rex chapman said he is thrilled with the way jr smith has developed and that is why the deal was made, so if he is not starting then karl's days are numbered
also richie are you going to be around still making nuggets game threads?

JR will start without a doubt.
He has matured in his game by taking it to the hoop rather that just shoot and mark my words, WATCH OUT KOBE!!!

i love the responses on that question
i dont like the "well where is the bench scoring going to come from" thoughts- that is now kleiza's job- jr must start

I saw this on the other thread, is the source for real?
Damn, I thought our dillemma was solved at the two now that A.I. is gone.
Karl is getting on my nerves right now.
Can anyone in the Nuggets organization make the decision, besides Karl, on who to start?

Re: Does JR start now?
Alright, this will be the last time I say this since it's getting old.
JR COMING OFF THE BENCH WOULD PLAY THE SAME AMOUNT OF TIME THAN IF HE WERE TO START.
I guarantee the lineup you will see get the majority of minutes in games will be
Billups
JR
Melo
Kmart
Nene.

Agreed.
Karl thinks that Dahntay is going to help set the pace early on defensively, however, he knows that he won't be in there long. So, at the end of the day, J.R. will still see a significant increase in his playing time and would probably play about the same amount even if Dahntay or anybody else gets to start over him.
