I predict Boozer becomes less effective while Memo is out. Defensively, teams had to make changes to cover both him and Okur. Now, they assign whichever of their bigs is better against Boozer without worry about Okur dropping a frew 3s on em.
I bet Collins will play. Might even start.
AK could play some 4 too. He should have a good trip with 2 of the stars out.
"But I still believe they have to move Andrei Kirilenko, especially with Boozer coming up and perhaps Okur. I get some interesting suggestions from readers, and one of my old buddies suggested offering Drew Gooden and Andres Nocioni for Kirilenko. It doesn't do anything for backup point guard, but it's an intriguing thought and worth exploring."Bulls.com
"Taking on Gooden with his $7.1 million expiring contract would give the Jazz some financial breathing room and Nocioni is a luxury for the Bulls, a player averaging about $7 million for three years after this who has no starting position. And you know Sloan would love Nocioni, and vice versa." Bulls.com
Would you pull the trigger on this deal if you were the GM of the Jazz?

Maybe financially, two expirers would be nice. Nocioni is a great fit in Utah. However, AK has been playing very well off the bench. If it did happen, it would have to go down after the all star break.
Not sure. Might want to keep AK and play him at the 4 if Boozer doesn't pan out.

Probably. Hopefull Sloan will play Koufos and he can keep them somewhat honest. I think he can help them if given the chance. Could be a blessing in disguise if Sloan is forced to play him.

No word. Wouldn't expect much minute wise if he did. His conditioning can't be good. Rather Koufus gets a chance than more of the stiff. Fesenko was supposed to go to Canada to take care of his visa but that might be delayed now.

Probably all he plays. He, Boozer and Milsap up front and Koufus when they inevitably get into foul trouble. Almond might get some time with AK up front.

I hope it doesn't hurt the record too bad.
Philly and Washington are struggling so it's either a great time to play them or they are due to break out.
Nocioni isn't an expiring contract but Jerry would love him. Gooden doesn't make much sense unless it's for Boozer other than his contract. Rather have Noah and Gray but than I guess the salary's don't match.

Still have Nocioni, Milsap and possibly Gooden to play the 4.
