Easy....

Alston and Barnes were the match...........Nash was the can of gasoline. What he did was completely stupid when you actually think about it.

Everybody was just trying to seperate players and get everything under control and then Nash just comes flying in to get after Rafer Alston thus causing the collective shit to hit the fan. If Nash doesn't go charging in after some one, it's just your average "player upset after a cheap shot" play...two off setting techs and back to your normal game.

Nash was a dumbass on that play, because he could've ignited a huge fight where somebody could've gotten hurt.........that's why he got a 1 game suspension.

Honestly I think Nash is frustrated about his situation in Pheonix and stuff is starting to boil over....I don't think he likes the new system.

What was Shaq trying to separate? He just came in and started shoving everyoe in sight. That doesn't END fights, it STARTS them.

Can't believe Yao hit Shaq in the back with a steel chair. Shaq just turned around and stared down Yao. Yao walked away backwards glaring at Shaq with Artest pumping him up, pointing and yelling at Shaq. Then, the Chinese National Anthem music hit........

Coincidentally, there's a PPV event next week, with Yao vs. Shaq as the main event. Oh boy, can't wait!!!!

AFTER NASH RAN IN and escalated the situation.........hence why he's being suspended for a game and Tmac and Shaq are not.

No, that'd make YOU the moron, because Stern isn't the one in charge of issuing fines and suspensions.

McGrady should have been suspended unless there was some sort of evidence proving he just meant to push Nash back to separate them and Nash's momentum caused him to fall.

That's what cracks me up the most about you guys who claim to know so much about situations. None of you is down on the court to hear what is being SAID at the time.

As for Nash being suspended, he had no part in the incident and then starts running in there like he's going to start some sh*t?

I'm just tired of listening to these retarded Suns fans every year b*tching and moaning about how unfair their team has it, but yet this is 2 or three years in a row where there's been some kind of incident involving Phoenix players.

They handed out suspensions like water in the Denver/NY fight. Yes, it was a bigger deal than this one, but if going by your logic, only the original people involved/the people who started it (and Melo for throwing a punch) should've been suspended.

yep, people seem to forget the league actually interviews the players, refs and coaches... then they take the video and the interviews and make their decision based on that... we just watch the video and have no clue about intent of the players or what may have preceeded the incident...
