I hope so.

Probably. But if CJ can shoot consistently he should be taking time from Korver if not others. He has a lot better all-around game than Korver.
Do we need more all around players? Seems to me that a backup swingman ought to have something they are very good at (Korver for 3!) instead of an all around game.

Can never have enough.

Unless you have other guys that can hit 3's and do other things in addition. Is his 3 point shooting expendable if Okur, Deron and CJ are knocking down 3's?

I think I like Miles' upside. Although he hasn't showed it yet he could be great on defense. He's only 21! The talent and athleticism I think outweigh Korver's shot (which hasn't been there). Also he comes cheaper. I think we let Korver go at the end of the season (or preferably trade him).

Unless Korver turns into a tough Harpring type of player or starts to hit his shots, I don't think he will be hanging around next season.

Would rather they made a decision right now and had a decent look at Almond or looked to trade.

Miles with another 20 point night. The first time I wrote it off. He got my attention now.

That's 4 strong games in a row. He's been deadly coming off screens. Typical Sloan though not going with the hot guy.

Harpring has to be the odd man out now. He's past his prime and the injuries aren't helping.

Doesn't anyone else notice that Harpring disappoints often? I used to love it when he touched the ball. Now, unless it's a quick layup, I hate it. The only man I want out on the floor less than Harpring is Collins.

Won't happen. He's one of Jer's faves. He said last year Harpring will be playing regardless. Korver appears to be the guy if anyone.

Darkness sums it up just perfectly i think. Harpers is Injury prone, and doesnt have that edge about him like he used to. But...
He a sloan fave and will probably be the one to stay, even if he diserves it least.

Almond played well again for the 3rd time in 4 games. He's been playing better than Harpring or than what Korver was

So if Almond stays on his current form and keeps improving, would he be a better fit than Korver going into next year?

Signing Almond would be cheaper right?

Maybe losing Collins, Harpring & Fes end of this year would help too. Sign a veteran SF to replace Harps.

ps. Of course losing all those white players (including Collins because he went Stanford) would mean they could only look at white guys or black guys who turned white because of their choice of education facility.

Sorry I had to put that in because it really ****s me the way some idiots on the main board constantly refer to the Jazz as being white only Mormons or African Americans who turned white.

Yeah, Collins, Fes and Harping's contracts will help a bit. We will need center reserves any way you add it up though. Makes sense to have three point guards and three centers to cover injuries). Waits for Xaio's comment
I think Harpring and Collins return for minumum deals just to fill out the roster with the cheapest possible vets who already know the system.

Yeah. The last one I saw got put down pretty well. Still the most available cheap shot when Utah beats them in the playoffs.

Could be? Depends on what happens with their FA and how much they have to spend.

Most likely.

Harpring isn't a FA. He's not going anywhere. Collins will likely be back with Jerry. Fesenko could be starting if they lose Okur, Boozer and Milsap.

No need for Dominic McGuire. Haywood certainly could help as could Etan if he returns to form.
