This was the first thread to see who was interested, and then he made a new thread saying all the people who were in it, and giving more details. I dunno where that other thread is though. Assumingly further down the main page.

everyone did. the ones that say "team .." are open slots. we're waitin on skywalker, smoky, and kumquat to register. that will leave 4 spaces or so left. and then we can pick and choose who they are

Anyone want to give me the downlow on this league, or for that matter, any fantasy league? I've played a salary cap league, where there isn't a draft, and you have a certain amount of money to buy players, but I haven't actually done a real fantasy league like this. My main question is this.

Do you need people at all positions so you can have a team of balanced stats, or could you load up on great PG's who score and steal a lot and get a bunch of assists, and still win? I know the answer to that, but why do you need to spread out the stats so much?

heres the deal homy.

you have PG,SG,G,SF,PF,F,F/C,and C. also a util (which can be every position). the stat categories are listed on the first post. you will face another manager each week and your team's stats will be accumalted in pts, assists, rebs, etc...so u pretty much see who wins in every category and whoever wins in the most..gets the W. at the end of the season, we see who has the best record and they advance to the playoffs. this is called head to head which is what the scoring is in this league.

so you need to pretty much see how u can get the best overall stats.and you cant just draft players and put em in whatever position for example... you cant draft jason kidd and play him at the forward..hes only eiligible for PG,G, and util.

theres fantasy basketball rules on yahoo and maybe nba.com. check it out

Good stuff man. Thanks for the info. Didn't realize what the head2head thing was. I like that idea more than just the stats throughout the season. Sounds good.
