Exclamation Nuggets vs. Lakers PART II

Let's see what will happen Friday when the Nuggets go to L.A. How will we do against them this time. Last time we played them we had The Answer now we have Mr. Big Shot.

Do you guys think we'll play better and win?
I think we will win (hopefully) because the bench is playing well and so are the starters. We'll have better perimeter defense, can't wait to see the match of Kobe vs. D-Jones or Kobe vs. Smith.

Here are some key matches:
Bynum-Nene
Gasol-Martin
Radmonovic-Melo
Kobe-Jones/Smith
Fisher-Billups

- I put Smith in there because his defense is solid the past few games and I think Karl will trust him.

Note: Jr is playing unselfish and playing great defense.

This should be a good game, and the nuggets have a chance to steal one since LA will be on the second of a back to back.

I predict a lower scoring game (for the lakers anyway) around the 95 point mark. It's already been proven that LA's weakness is still physicality, so martin and nene and have to rough up gasol and bynum and DON'T ALLOW LAYUPS, even if you have to hammer them, no easy buckets.

One thing's for sure though, if they win this, they HAVE to start getting some consideration for being a better team than NO, Houston, etc, because they're already the better team in my eyes.

I can't wait. Other than Boston, the Nuggets get a TRUE test. Imagine how much analysts will be sweet-talking them if they beat both teams that were in last year's Finals in their own arenas. If Denver wins this, nothing can ruin my weekend.

impo game..

first game was lost ..main problem was rebounding.. gasol/bynum combined to 24 rebounds..nene-kmart did just 10 together..

hope they do better this time..

Exclamation Re: Nuggets vs. Lakers PART II

As a laker fan i must say...you guys are defensively strong...last year it was enver this year its "D"enver.

I think the nuggets are a top 3 team...i love billups game...melo too...no disrespect to AI but he was not for your team...all you guys need is some perimeter defense and load up on a reliable backup....

never know when nene or k-mart can go down...they are not the healthiest players in the league...

that said this will go down to the wire...its all up to who can finish better....i hope we can pull out the W...just as you guys will be hoping vice versa....good game dudes..

I don't know about being a top 3 team, especially in the entire league. I have my doubts and am not 100% sold on the team yet, but if they beat the Lakers in their own turf tonight, then I'll definetly consider this team a top 3 team out in the West. Like Richie said, other then Boston, this will be a true test for the new look Nuggets.
