Default Game 11 @ 76ers 11/21

Los Angeles Clippers 2-9 @ Philadelphia 76ers 3-4

Where: Oracle in Philadelphia
When: Friday, November 21st; 4:00 PM PST
Media: FSN Prime Ticket; ESPN AM 710
Clippers Last Game: 108-88 victory at Oklahoma City
76ers Last Game: 96-102 loss at Minnesota

Projected Starting Units:
vs
Baron Davis vs Andre Miller
15.5 Points 15.5 Points
3.3 Rebounds 3.6 Rebounds
8.0 Assists 5.6 Assists

VS
Cuttino Mobley vs Andre Igoudala
13.7 Points 15.9 Points
2.6 Rebounds 4.7 Rebounds
1.1 Assists 1.8 Assists

VS
Al Thornton vs Thaddeus Young
16.4 Points 16.2 Points
4.8 Rebounds 5.2 Rebounds
0.8 Assists 1.2 Assists

VS
Marcus Camby vs Judas
8.5 Points 15.8 Points
9.5 Rebounds 10.5 Rebounds
1.4 Assists 1.7 Assists

VS
Chris Kaman vs Samuel Dalembert
14.3 Points 6.8 Points
10.8 Rebounds 9.9 Rebounds
1.8 Assists 0.2 Assists

Q's Key's To The Game:

1) Control the boards. Can't let the 76ers get easy second chance points, and need to get extra possessions for us.
2) No lay-ups. If we protect the point and force Igoudala to chuck, I'm going to be confident.
3) Don't let the crowd get into it. Everytime the 76ers make a run, we need to do something and shut the crowd up.

Q's Quote:
"We are now a mediocre 2-9 and already 3 games out of the 8th seed. A victory here to give us our first 2 game win streak of the season will be huge before we go to Jersey and end up coming home for two. I expect Mobley to have another huge game in his hometown. "

Q's Prediction: Clippers win 97-92
Q's Prediction Record: 5-6

love the Judas reference for EB...only 3 games out of the eigth seed after that terrible start? not as bad as i thought...this game will be a test to see how we respond to a big win on the road

I did not know that is what Jason Thompson looked like. He looks really familar but I just can't put my finger on it.

Geeze, I must unconsciously really have wanted us to take Jason Thompson over Eric Gordon, second time I make this mistake

49-46 Clippers at the half. After that horrid start, Clippers come out with a 33 point 2nd quarter to take the lead.

Thad Young V. Al Thornton = one of the best head to head matches so far this year. 14-4 on 6-10 shooting for Thornton vs 16-5 on 7-10 shooting for Thad.

Ricky Davis is garbage, Jason Hart doesn't belong in the NBA. Glad we got Mardy, hopefully Jason becomes the #4 PG now. Brand looks like crap on the offensive end, and minus those blocks, he seems like an average PF.

Wow Mike, were down by 1 with 16 seconds left and we still have a time-out left. You go for the quick htiter so you can have a chance to foul and get another attempt to tie the game. Instead, you decide to dribble out the clock then have one chance? You damn idiot.

Thornton with 22/9 beasted, Skinner had a good game, Neither G/F Davis could hang on to the ball. We just lost this game, plain and simple. Better bounce back against the Nets tomorrow night.

Seconds before the tip-off, Brand walked to Dunleavy and shook his hand.

"It was great," Dunleavy said. "We shook hands and he said, 'Coach, thank you for everything. I enjoyed my time there.' "
