Default Krstic may return

financial crisis has gripped Russia and several pro teams (Krstic's included) are not paying their players.

Nets have extended the qualifying offer to Nenad.

which means he could be coming back, unless he enjoys the cold weather and no pay

That would make things interesting. Someone would get traded to make room for him. Mind you he'd be a bench player, but a very good one at that I think if he has fully recovered from his injury.

That's weird though, can they just decide not to pay their players?

well no. but if there IS no money at all, I don't suppose the players will take little trinkets and moral support?

I would like to see Krstic back. I always liked him.

Devin Harris/Keyon Dooling
Vince Carter/Chris Douglas-Roberts
Jarvis Hayes/Ryan Anderson
Yi Jianlian/Josh Boone
Brook Lopez/Nenad Krstic

That'd be nice.

that would be some pretty good depth

but that would require dumping Najera and Swift.

Najera, the epitome of hustle in his youth, is really nothing more than an extra assistant coach during practice right now.

Swift will not be part of the rotation.

I wonder if he will ever return to his best form before the horribe injury. You know a player's career can be completely destroyed by injuries like that, don't you?

I'd dump Najera in heartbeat to bring back Krstic.

Najera is a decent defender and does have pretty good bball iq. We signed him because we needed veterans and experience. Najera also has a decent jumper but due to his hand injury, hes been off ever since hes been a Net.

But I would dump Najera for Nenad.

At least Nejera is supposed to be a way better player than Jason Collins.
