Default Getting killed! Is my team that bad? Help?

I'm in a 10 team H2H league and I'm in 9th place. Can anyone help me get out of this rut? Or will Manu's return help me? I haven't won a match this season. Thinking I'm going to have to make some trades to get my team back on track. Does anyone know what I should do?

Here's my team:
PG: Baron Davis
SG: Terry
G Manu Ginobilli
SF: Hedo
PF: Gerald Wallace
F: Marion
C: Bynum
UTIL: Ilgauskas
UTIL:Nate Robinson

Bench: Hawes
Bench: Pietrus
Bench: David Lee

Thanks!

I'd say you should try to trade for a big name... some one you could depend on for any given night. Are they weekly or daily lineups? Because if they are weekly, a big name would help a lot. Also, Manu is back and he'll probably give you a little boost. However, don't expect too much from him, because he's probably rushing it back too soon. Try to prod around and offer trades that firstly benefit you and, although in your favor, will pass the veto stage.

Daily Lineup changes. Here's how it looks. This will be my first week with Manu back and I'm facing the 1st place team. As you can see, I'm losing FG% and Points every week. But, I think Manu will help the points. Maybe I should get rid of Gay for a big man with a high FG%. Maybe Bogut? Or maybe I could get someone for G Wallace? Any ideas would be GREATLY appreciated.

FG% 0-4-0

FT% 2-2-0

3ptm 1-2-1

PTS 0-4-0

REBS 1-3-0

AST 2-2-0

STL 1-2-1

BLKS 4-0-0

TO 2-2-0

Would dropping Pietrus be a good idea?

Maybe Scola could help FG%?

Maybe Duhon could help my team?

Maybe Udrich? (Already had him and dropped him, not feeling it.)

Maybe Brook Lopez? (Will he start soon?)

Maybe Sessions? (Too bad Ridnoir is in the picture...Ridnoir is also available)

DJ Augustine (Will he continue to start?)

Q. Richardson (His inconsistency scares me, but I am losing FG% every week).

Chalmers
Thanks!

Who's still available?
I say drop Pietrus and then decide if you want to tank turnovers or FG% (<- Get a bunch of chuckers) or both even. Right now you need a high scorer who gets some decent rebounds. David Lee will come strong and Manu will fit wall into your line up. Don't be too hasty.

It's been said before, but you need to pick 6 or 7 categories to load up on, and TANK the others. There is no point be ok in any category in H2H.

Until you figure out what your teams strengths are, it will be difficult to work with. For example, your team looks terrible in blks....so having Bynum/Z won't be helping you much, compared to a Boozer who is more pts/bds and no blks. You need to pick a direction.

I can't really figure out my team yet. I've actually won blocks every week. Would it be a bad idea to grab Garcia and drop Pietrus? I'm thinking I will and then sort out my strengths in a week or two. Thanks!

it would look that way right?! but if you look at his post with his record in each cat then you see he's actually 4-0 in blocks this season. weird team...doesn't look like it should be that bad?

Yeah, I went for a lot of all around players. Not sure if I did the right thing...Now, it seems like I'm losing by a little in most categories. What about dropping Pietrus for Eric Gordon or Brook Lopez? Would that help?

Or, I should I trade Gerald Wallace or Gay?

Pick up Brook Lopez, at least until Boone is back.

After watching Pietrus tonight, my gut is telling me to grab Brook Lopez. How much longer is Boone out? Do you think they will be job sharing all year long? Should I really do it>>

You're in a 10 team league, guys like Pietrus are expendable. Keep trying to find that hot players off the waivers...

Alright I did some number crunching for you.

Based on your top 9, with numbers adjusted for Manu (18/4.7/4.1 etc etc).....you are brutal at bds and FG%. To me, those are what you dump.

You are nearly good in blks...maybe the guys you were up against had bad weeks, or maybe the blks are really spread out in your league. So, you could dump blks, or try for blks.

To me, if you moved Bynum, it would do nothing bad to your team (other then blks). Make sure they are good at scoring, low TOs, good FT%. Ideally they would steal/3's. You don't care about their rebounding or FG%. That should be easy as people want good FG% guys.

OR.....deal bynum for another shot blocker, just one that hits more FT%....I am not sure who that is.

David Lee can also go. Again, focus on non FG% and bds cats. Make sure you keep an eye on Turnovers. Nate is hurt, so you should pick up some 3's. Keeping Pietrus might not be a bad idea. Eric Gordon is sure to be a TO machine.

Dealing GWall might be smart too...for better FT%, lower TOs, more 3's/pts.

Finally, you could keep Bynum, for the blks and deal Gwall and his 75% FT on 6+ attempts. Deal Lee, Gwall for scoring, 3's, FT%, dimes.

Finally..again....you could dump FG%, Bds and blks...in which case it gets easier as you deal Lee, Bynum, Hawes, Gwall and Z.....for Pts, 3's, dimes, stls, TOs and FT%. The only problem there....be VERY careful of TOs (keeping Z might not be bad...decent pts, low TOs and great FT%). Marion is untouchable for your team. Target Dirk bigtime (Bynum/Gwall for Dirk + player).
