Default LA Centers vs Dallas Centers

Ok I have been arguing over in the Dallas forum with a Laker fan who is telling me because Kwame and Mihm have slightly better stats then Damp and Desagna Diop that it means it makes them better.

So there are some educated Laker fans on here I assume, which duo would you rather have if you are trying to build a contender?

thats a tough call man. put it to you this way, on dallas iwould rather have dampier/diop because you guys are closer to the title than we are as of now and they have more expierience not to mention experience in the finals, but on our team i would definitely take kwame/mihm. i truly believe that we are a couple years away to winning a title and with the way kwame started to show good improvement in the second half of last season he showed that he can possibly be a defensive and rebounding machine for us since he is only 24 and should get better.

nicely put... but kwame is the best out of the 4 bigs...but damp and diop are decent centers but together they are nice...i would only take both of them becuase they should share the minutes 24/24 and thats how they are good.. they both are centers that block shots and rebound....kwame and mihm have the offensive edge....

Good ? and good response so far but let me ask you guys this who would win in a three on three Dallas centers or Lakers centers?
Kwame Milm Bynum vrs. Dampier Diop Mbenga
Put Dirk in the mix then Dallas but he's not a center even though he's 7 feet tall.

Thats a tough call, but with the development of Kwame that is coming along, I think i'd side with the Laker Center's squad.. but just barely... I say they win in a best of 7 series, 4-3... haha

Thats a tough one, it all depends on what Bynum turns into. DJ Mbenga has a nice ceiling on him also, he is gonna be a talented center in the league.

from a business perspective i would say the lakers.

But i like diop sooo much.

but this is difficult because all these centers have different styles

but i must go with potential more than anything so

Kwame, mihm, Bynum > Diop, Dampier, Mbenga

i'll take the youth and upside of Kwame/Bynum over everything Dallas has at center.

It's pretty even Dallas has the defense and shot blocking edge although Kwame has developed into an excellent low post defender, but both Diop and Dampier are better defenders and shot blockers than Mihm (better shotblockers than Kwame too). As for offense, it should be an easy answer, both Kwame and Mihm have better offensive skills than any Center on Dallas. Always have to go with the youth, especially since you have Bynum as your 3rd string Center.
