Default Stack?

I've heard rumours of Stackhouse to TO.... could it even be done?

Exactly, let's see the link.

And should this happen,

- How would we trade away to get him?

- What would Jerry Stackhouse bring to the table what the rest of the team cannot?

- What would be his role on the team?

- Finally, coming back to the first question, would those pieces we gave up have equal value?

No idea. I'm not sure he would even be useful to the Raps.

I was passed this info by an acquaintance so there is no link. Since no one else has heard anything, I'm assuming it to be false.

Not that Id want him, but he's the same age as KG, Ray Allen. They seem to have lots in the tank.

Stackhouse would instantly become our best SG/SF.

Stack is no way a SF ..... he has always played SG anyways we don't need him right now he's too old and Parker is almost the same, you think Stack could play 35+ mins and avg 15PPG for us everygame? i don't think so he's more of a back up lets just wait for someone else .....

how in the world are we going to get him...

also, he's not the Defense SG, or the slashing athletic SG we are looking for.

Maybe were thinking about this trade possibility all wrong lets think of a deal with one of our players and fillers maybe we can get a young player that could become a solid player on this team...

I would trade for Stack but it all depends on who dallas wants to also trade to us...

Stack come off the books next season and Kapono needs to go.

What if the trade were something like this:

Jerry Stackhouse
Brandon Bass
Gerald Green

for

Kris Humphries
Jason Kapono
Hassan Adams

Stack's been pretty useless the past 2 seasons. He kind of brings the slashing that we need but I don't think he'd be consistent and efficient enough to make it worth trading away some young talent.

That trade proposal is impossible to read, you're better off just typing the players names.

If Jason Kapono is going the other way then I'd be all for getting Stack.

Do you really think the Mavs would even take a look at this type a deal?
