From what I've seen of Austin Daye...
he reminds me of Jared Jeffries. Just for kicks, here's Jeffries stats at Indiana
Similar frame (both in that 6'10" range and slim) and both choose to face the basket rather than use their height and length. NBA position is kind of unkown for Daye. Jeffries was projected to be a sf, tall enough to be a pf, and at one point was the Knicks starting sg.
Should Daye become a lottery pick in the '09 draft, I'm choosing him as my bust right now. It's bold, and he could easily prove me wrong. But right now I don't see much in him.
