Nasty half of basketball, esp. the 1st quarter. So far I think Diaw has looked pretty good...6 rebounds, 2 assists, a steal and a block in 12 minutes. I esp. like his vision, he's found Mek a couple of times underneath the rim.
Ditto on giving our guys some time to learn to play together before making any more trades. Of course the FO may already be intent on a different course of action in the near future which would not allow our current players to see how they can make each other better. I think there can be a good deal of that given some time.
Any time you have 2 new guys on a team, especially as starters, it's going to take some time to get things worked out. Luckily for us, it only took about a half of a game, it could've been worse. Detroit could've easily won this game by 60, but we were able to quickly work some kinks out and we made it a game.
Good to see the team fight back from 29 down, but it's hard to come back and win like that. Like someone said, the team will have to mesh with Diaw and Bell and that will take a few games. My computer monitor screwed up on Thursday night and we had to order a new one. Was messing with monitor today and it suddenly came on.
