Default Carter or D. Howard?

As you guys know, Carter has the option to leave NJ the end of this season. Rumors say he is being pursued by Orlando. Do you think the Nets will try to resign VC or try to trade him for Dwight Howard? Do you guys think this is even possible? Who would you guys prefer?

Do you really think Orlando would give up Dwight Howard for Vince Carter? What have you been smoking?

Orlando won't be considering trading Howard anytime soon, they regard him as their franchise player, they're building around him, and he's only 21 years old. Vince is one of my favorite players, but to trade Howard for Carter, c'mon...be serious.

As a GM, I would prefer Howard. As a fan, I would rather watch VC.

the only player the magic would trade Howard for is Lebron, if anyone at all. But they are gonna have a lot of cap room next year to give him a big fat extension and if possible, sign Carter...

Orlando will not give up Howard, look at the age factor as much as I like Vince, his 30 and aint getting younger, he cant keep doing all atheletic stunts much longer. As for howard his young and improving, good big men are hard to find in the league and his one of them.

Howard won't be traded from the Magic and not for Carter either whom they can simply sign in the offseason.

Suppose we maintain the same roster next season (07 - 08), but without Carter. Can NJ still be a contender in the East or Atlantic Division? Who do you think NJ should try to acquire?

RJ cannot be a #1 option.

he is very efficient bceause he plays off double teams of Carter and Kidd.

if Carter's personal life seems to be affecting the Nets greatly, look for them to deal him for a big man.
