No energy. Can't say I blame the guys, they are coming off a double OT game in Indy, and a OT game(thx Refs) in Chi.
Lack of a fresh bench is the problem. Ricky, as horrid as he has been playing, needs to get healthy, Mardy is just horrible and our only backup SG/SF with how little Novak plays.
What a surprise! Novak hits a three. Jordan hustles.
A game where everyone is obviously gassed, Dunleavy still goes with his horrid 9 man rotation. Let Steve get shots in the fourth, and get some lobs to DJ. This game is over, lets just let them guys earn playing time for the next game.
And for the love of god, can we sign a backup PG, I can't stand Hart, and minus his intensity/defense, Taylor gets on my nerves as well. Yes, he is still my favorite Clipper.
Mardy Collins needs to learn to shoot, hes starting to develop into Qross with better handles and worse defense. The only knock I have on Jason Hart is he plays so systematic which is probably why Dunleavy loves him. Hart is basically scared that if hes over aggressive and does something Dunleavy won't like he'll get benched. He just needs to play more freely, shoot those jumpers and attack the rim.
As for the need for another PG, I agree. Lets look at some options out there like Guillermo Diaz, Troy Hudson, Darius Washington, and Jay Williams are some names that come to mind.
