Default Bulls 2 biggest problems

I read so many suggestions/complaints about the Bulls. We need a good PF, should we let Gordon walk? etc etc.
To me, their defense is ok but the 2 main problems are in the offensive end.
1. Wrong kind of offensive players as in Lack of Low post threat and/or slasher and/or 3pt shooters. Thank God for Rose who drives hard and gets some layups and/or FTs, chicago would have been ave below 80 pts/game. Their veteran offensive scorers in Gordon and Deng are both non slashers, non low post scorers, and non 3pt shooters!

a. No 3pt shooters. You will see Rose creating some open shots for his teammates only to see those players make 40% of thier shots. Knicks believe it or not improved by jacking up 3's b/c by just hitting above 35%, in theory, they are better off ave 50%FG= 3 pts every 1 of 3 shots made, plus a fair chance of collecting those long rebs. Bulls don't have that consistent shooter that can break the back of the opposing team's defense.

b. No low post threat. The Spurs have Duncan, Boston has KG, lakers have Pau and Bynum and even the Clips have Zach Randolph who nearly singlehandedly beat you if not for that lucky 4 pt play in the last minute, while the Bulls have... Gooden who lurks in the perimeter trying those low % shots. No inside threat, means no demand for the opposing team to double and force them to leave somebody open. Plus, less FTs as other teams would be happy for the Bulls to take those contested jumpshots.

c. Lack of slashers aside from Rose. Nets have 2 players that slashes/penetrate and create offensive situations in Devin Harris, Carter. CAvs have Lebron, Lakers have Kobe, Spurs have Parker and Ginobli etc etc. These guys also collect FTs and/or layups. On the other hand the Bulls have Gordon and Deng who would take jumpshots after jumpshotgs and ave like 42% from the field.

Reason no.2. Coaching's lack of creativity. No precised cuts, no flash to lanes, no back screens, no offensive continuity, no elaborate schemes to free up some scorers, its just mainly screen rolls, one and one plays and ofcourse the infamous set and Jumpshots.

What about just a team that is looking around for someone to do something? If you watch the Celtics or the Spurs, they always look so organised, given they are very experienced teams, their coach has given each player a role to play, each player just do what they do best...Bulls just seem to run with the flow of the game, Im going to single out Gordon here, he should just shoot when he's open nothing more, his aimless dribbling and fadeaway jumpshots with people in his face should not tolerated...Deng's role should be purely slashing when there's an open lane or hitting the jump shot when he's open...Tyrus should just concentrate on driving to the hoop for a dunk/passing it off if theres no room, rebounding and blocking every shot within his reach...That's just a few examples, send a message to the players, benching them as soon as they are not doing what they are asked to do, I think that Del Negro is not emphasising these roles enough to the players, it shows in their play...I think Rose is the only guy doing what he's supposed to do, and he's a rookie for Christs sake... Maybe when they eventually acquire a reliable veteran bigman will they settle into their roles, because it just looks like mass confusion out there...

Great points about defining their roles and holding them accountable etc. My favorite all time player is Chris Mullin b/c he does exactly that, move without the ball then get to his sweet spots, recieved the ball and quickly probe if he is open, take the shot or pass the ball around. This is my main problem about VDN, he is a rookie with very little coaching experience, now probably looking fearful at every second to make mistakes and alienate anybody, trying to avoid getting fired by probably politicking with both Mgt and players ,not sure of himself and looking lost etc.
It all boils down to Paxson's mistakes here, Yes he has collected fine pieces here that even the Grizz were willing to give Gasol to them for a couple of Bulls etc, now the 2 rookie coaches that didn't panned out, The owner should stand up and tell him "look, our payroll is really high compared to most teams above us, let VDN go and you take acccountability by stepping up and coach this team if you really feel that the team you assembled is really good enough"
