4th? Maybe 5th or 6th at best. They don't have the talent to be much better than that. After Wade, your talking a team full of role players. That includes Shawn Marion who really isn't that great anymore. They have no depth and they don't defend the 3 very well.

Outside of a 2 point win against LA and a win over a struggling SA team (early in the season) they really haven't won many good games. They beat Utah, but Utah really doesn't look that good right now.

They got Cleveland, Cleveland, NJ, Orlando, SA, Denver, Sac Town, LA, Minny, Bucks, Houston, Oak City, Boston, Orlando, Atlanta, Wiz, Indiana and Dallas coming up. Either they will get buried this next month or survive and become a threat for a top 5 spot. Your talking about 11 games there against teams with a winning record. The Bucks are 7-4 this month so even they will not be a push over.

The Jazz have lost to:

Knicks
Washington
Charlotte
Chicago
New Jersey
Miami
Chicago
Bucks

They don't deserve to be in the top 10. They've had a cupcake schedule so far and have only come out of it at 18-13. Not so good.

Im going to have to stick with fourth... maybe fifth or sixth. i think heat/hawks/pistons all up for grabs those 4-6 spots... top 3 i got to think will be b/w celts/cavs/magic, and final 2 spots will go b/w the rest of the east minus the wiz

Are you serious? We've been hit by a death load of injuries this season. We've only had 1 game with our whole starting line-up. At different times in the season Okur has been injured, Boozer, Millsap, Deron, Matt, Kirelinko. Are major role players have been injured and to go 18-13 just shows that we're fighters.

so b/c a team is injured it justifies them being in your power rankings?

I wasn't arguing that i was arguing that a lot of their losses come with their injuries this season so even if they've had what Hotlanta called a cupcake schedule their losses have been justified.

I pretty much agree with that except I might put San Antoni above Atlanta this week.

I know, but that's some really bad losses in there. I'm not sure if there is ever an excuse for losing to Washington. They have 4 wins this year. The Jazz bench should be able to beat them. Chicago twice? They give up over 100PPG so you can afford to miss players and still beat them. Same with the Knicks.

Charlotte is a fairly tough team despite the record though. They do play defense. I haven't seen many Jazz games, but what I gather.... I would say that Millsap filled in for Boozer pretty nicely. 18/11 as a starter.

Utah has guys like Brevin Knight, Matt Harpring, Korver and AK-47 coming off the bench. Utah really has a deep team... So I can cut them some slack, but they do have depth and have had a weak schedule.

Utah has the depth to overcome some injuries. I think Utah has the talent to be as good as anyone. I can see them jumping up into the top 10 by the end of the year. Right now, I just can't put them there.
