Default Lets face it.

We need to start someone else over Yi to be a force, or we need a better starting SF. Yi is the most inconsistent player in the NBA, maybe next to Deshawn Stevenson.

We should try and get Linas Kleiza to start at the 3.

http://games.espn.go.com/nba/feature...7~17&te=&cash=

New Jersey Nets give:
Sean Williams
Eduardo Najera
Maurice Ager

New Jersey Nets get:
Steven Hunter
Linas Kleiza

Why the Nets do it:
Get a good tough Small Forward in Linas Kleiza who can start over Simmons and do a much better job. Steven Hunter is just a filler, maybe he could come in for defense when he gets healthy.
--------------------------------------------------------------------
Denver Nuggets give:
Steven Hunter
Linas Kleiza

Denver Nuggets get:
Sean Williams
Maurice Ager
Eduardo Najera

Why the Nuggets do it:
Get a defensive presence in Sean Williams, which they miss ever since they gave away Camby. They get Najera back who presents a hustle player role. And Ager is just a filler.

This trade would also work.

http://games.espn.go.com/nba/feature...te=&cash=25:17

Why the Nets do it:
Nets receive 2 bigs that can score. Wilcox can even start instead of Yi because he's at least a bit more consistent and tougher than Yi. We also gain Wilkins who can score off the bench a SG version of Hayes. We also get rid of Najera,Swift, and Williams who never get played.

Why the Nuggets do it:
Nuggets get defense in Swift, Williams, and Boone. And a hustle player in Najera. Also an all around big man is Boone who can start next to Collison or Green.

Yi starts at PF while Bobby Simmons starts at SF. I agree with you though, Yi needs to get stronger and tougher to start at PF. In the Nets games that I've seen lately, I think that Yi could play a bit closer to the basket instead of just standing around the 3 all the time.

I think that this trade would work for the reasons you stated.

I still hope we could snag G-Force from the cats he would fit perfectly !!! He would supply us with great defense and toughness that we so obviously need !!!

PG - Harris
SG - Carter
SF - G. Wallace
PF - Yi
C - Lopez

I could see us bieng 4th seed with that lineup

Then in 2010 if we get Lebron and Wallace can move to the 4 spot

Wallace would kind of ruin the LeBron plan

hmm.. well what about this trade...

http://games.espn.go.com/nba/feature...~9~9&te=&cash=

well that would be sick but.. its hard to make...

golden state send to net:
morrow
mags
watson

net send to golden state:
swat
Yi
swift

they would get some bigs... ending contract...

but i think we could get to much... a pg a great sf/sg player and a rookie that is great... can do somethink..

the lineup would be

PG Devin/keyon/watson
SG VC/CDR/ager
SF Mags/hayes/simmons/hassell/morrow
PF Anderson/najera
C Brook/boone

or we could use one of sf to trade for a pf.. well but as i said that would be to sick if we could make that......
