Players unhealthy (O'Neal, also Jawal) or getting old (Parker)
Players not playing as expected (Ukic, Solomon, Kapono)
Players not developing quickly enough (Bargnani)
A bunch of bench warmers (Humphries, Voshkul, Adams, Moon, some of the aformentioned)
Too many failures. The future looks cludy now.
If O'Neal were healthy, if Bargnani were consistent, if Ukic played well in the NBA, if Parker were younger, in Humphries were taller if... but that's not the case and I can't see the Raptors as a top team in the East.
those are MINOR issues that exist in all the teams!!!! (lack of depth at certain positions, injuries, etc)
they are minor because they DO NOT occur consistently, but our sucky bargnani and lack of wing happens EVERYGAME
one decent wing player, playing over 30 minutes (over the course of a 48 minutes game) plus not having those 20+ bargnani minutes MAKES A HUGE DIFFERENCE.. and i bet we wouldn't have won at least 5 more games

I'm pretty sure "down the line.... through the draft" means next year. There enough conceivable players in this years draft I think could step up an immensly help this team next year and show we got younger and have a good framework moving forward for the next four years. As a player I think Bosh would see the bright future and resign if we can do it.

JO is injured EVERY GAME. Sometimes he can play for 25 minutes, sometimes can't even dress, but his knee is injured anyway. And no replacement at all.
Solomon or Ukic loses any advantage that the starters could have got. That happens EVERY GAME. (look +/- stats)
The team needs two wing player (not just one). Right now, neither Moon, Kapono, Parker or Bargnani are legit starters.
I am not defending Bargnani. Just say the team has big holes in every position. It is much more than a wing player.

The wing position is our greatest hole right now and that has to be resolved before doing anything else. This should be the first thing BC deals with. Forget the rest of the crap for now.

too funny...where can we find that wizard...hmmmmm?
As I stated originally I agreed wtih some of it as much as I disagreed with other parts of it. Hollinger for the most part has no idea what is actually going on.
Moon a defensive ace!!?? lol recently he has done well but for the most part he has not.
Humphries first big off bench before Bargnani!!?? lol How do you develop a guy who has way more talent and skill when he gets little playing time? As it was at the time O'Neal and Bosh were playing most of the PF & C minutes. Bargnani was not getting alot of time. And to say Bargnani is less of a defender than Moon and Humphries!!?? lol Bargnani since game 1 of the season has played better defense overall than those 2 guys. His defense is way improved since he was drafted.
