You don't recall his injury? Wow. Last I checked, there wasn't any videos on youtube because apparently, it was too gruesome for it to be left up. Going for a layup back in 2006 (?), he came down and his knee popped completely out of it's socket. Have a look around for the video, I think this is the worst injury I've ever witnessed from an NBA player. It's amazing he can still play.

Come on Dunleavy lets bring him back! We need a pg badly. With all the recent injuries Eric Gordon and Mardy Collins are our only guards and our bench now consists of 6'10 Novak and Skinner, and 2 7 footers in Samb and Jordan. Time to find my Livingston avatar again

Have you never seen the vid? It's probably the worst basketball injury I've ever seen. The lower leg went completely wrong direction and I think he broke all three major ligaments ( I think). The doctors even told him he would need to work really hard just to be able to walk.

It would seem so. Does that mean Zo should be on the court within a week from now?

Nope, this was also done to save some money as some NBA contracts get guaranteed on Wednesday.

Okay, lets see you have as serious a knee injury and walk normal afterwards let along run, jump & cut. Then you can talk about people being overly sympathetic.

A guy who was trying his best out there, finally starting to realize his potential after coming in straight out of high school, and lucked out with a nasty knee injury gets my sympathy.

No if you wanted to make a case for oversympathy for a screw up like Darius Miles or Monta Ellis or Jay Williams, that would be different.

Puhleeze. See, there are always a bunch of weak sissy's in these threads.

"Oh he just started his career and he got injured." "Poor him, he might have to walk with a limp the rest of his life"

Cry more.

There's children starving in Africa, thousands of homeless people in Gaza, little girls being sold as prostitutes by their own parents in Thailand, and you ******* are crying, feeling sorry for this dude who earned over 10 million playing basketball? That mofo is privileged even compared to 90% of Americans.

Knicks! Or possibly Suns. I'd rather see him with the Suns because they have the best medical staff in the league. If he's going to recuperate, it's gotta be with them. Would hate to see this kid's career go to waste.

Stupid comment. What does that all have to do with NBA and Shaun's career? We are not allowed to be sympathetic according to you because there are people worse off out there? That means nobody should b!tch or get angry, because there are people out there with more of a right to show those emotions? I don't think so.

It's a shame, when he was playing really well offensively it was great to watch. Healthy, he's a dream for D'Antoni if he keeps developing. Not sure he ever will be healthy enough for this to happen.

Nets, sign him if he's not injured for a 10 day contract when we can.

We can use him as a 3rd string PG.
