Default Celtics classless dunk at end!

I did not see this. Only heard about it and read it on the link below.

http://www.torontosun.com/sports/bas...04531-sun.html

Boston did something similiar against Toronto 3 or 4 years ago when both teams were at the bottom of the Atlantic. Gerald Green received a pass off the backboard basically just before the buzzer at the end of the game on a 2-0 break in a game in which Boston won by 20 or so.

Wonder if I should start a thread in the main section to see league wide people's opinions of the Celtics.

I hate the Celtics. Nobody on that team has any class and they all piss me off. Bunch of mouth pieces, particularly Garnett and Pierce. That whole team can just go to hell.

P.S I have bowel movements larger than Rondo. Lil runt.

The dunk was not classless at all.

The Raptors were still trying to foul them, and they managed to dodge the fouls all the way to the paint on the other end, where they have two options, stand and wait for a Raptor to foul them, or put the ball in the hoop.

If I could remember few years go, they did it on our home.
They did this in your homecourt which is no problem. If the lead was like 30 and they did that, that was classless. But the game was pretty close, it was risky move but they managed to pull it.

It was classless because Rondo got away and there wasn't anyone close enough to get fouled from. If Rondo ran to the corner like anyone else would have, the time would have expired...

It was tacky...but it ranks pretty low on the Celtic classless act scale. I thought Triano handled it very well by calling the timeout, and having Bargs shoot the FU three pointer.

There were no Raptor players close to them, and there was only 2 seconds left. There was no need for that dunk.

There was no point for that dunk. There were what 3 seconds left? No one was near Rondo or Powe. I don't see how anyone else can think otherwise. The Celtics are the most cocky classless arragant team in the NBA. I understand swagger and cofidence is great, but that entire team from top to bottom is full of pricks.

Maybe I'm just venting from the loss? lol.

Even Doug Smith agrees, and he's usually the guy who contradicts whatever the fans are saying.

Quote:
Action: Last basket

Reaction: Punk move

There is a way to win and there is being bush league and we saw which way Rajon Rondo goes last night.

Instead of doing what every other NBA player would have done – simply dribble out the clock in the open court with less than five seconds left in an overtime win – he throws up a lob pass to Leon Powe, who dunks with 1.6 seconds left.

That’s classless and don’t think people didn’t notice. It’s why Jay called a timeout – delay the celebration, you saw him about 20 feet on the court I’m sure expressing his opinion to the kid and his teammates – and even Bosh made mention of it post-game.

It’s just a no-class move by a kid. And it fits into the whole, cocky Celtic persona that’s really taken away from their status as champions.

Nothing much Toronto can do about it but it was a punk move that was entirely unnecessary.

A guy who commented expressed my sentiments exactly;

"nice dunk at the end you green leperchaun ******s.... such a disgrace to the league and the game of basketball itself...today i am praying for a career ending injury to one of them. amen"

How sweet would it be for Pierce to finally snap his knee or Allen to bust his ankles up again. I hate that team so much.

Hey now.. Paul Pierce is my favorite player and has overcome a lot in his career to get to this point. Wishing bad things on sports players is a big no-no.
