Baron was one of my favorite players when he played under Silas.

Stupid move by the Grizzlies. They should have kept him. 1 1/2 seasons with a completely undermanned roster is not an indication of how good a coach can be. They are totally in rebuilding mode, and he should be given a chance to prove himself. Mike Woodson coached through some horrible Hawks' seasons and given the players, he has shown that he is a quality NBA coach. Same thing with Iavaroni - give him a chance, and then see what he can do.

Well D'Antoni is actually doing a nice job to turn to lottery team NY Knicks into a team capable of challenging for a play-off ticket, especially if you realize that the Knicks actually have traded two of their best players away in the middle of this season.

Iavoroni is one those guys, you know the ones, he's better as an assistant than as a head coach. Maybe he's just not a motivating personality or whatever. But I think he's still a great basketball mind who will get picked up again. Probably by the Knicks.

They traded Gasol for nothing last year and so the coach gets fired this year for his team's bad play. Biggie needs to realize that if you give a coach a bad team he's going to lose. Maybe Iavaroni was a bad coach but I don't like it when a coach is canned for not being able to work a miracle on a lousy squad. That's why I was never so hard on Doc when the Cs were getting slapped around.

Wow im hearing reports that the next coach will be lionel hollins. If this is true I am truly done with the grizz. There are so many coaches out there that would be great candidates to teach these young guns to pay the right way and make them into a real team. And the grizz orginazation have once again screwed up royally.

I'm glad he's gone. Terrible as a head coach and wanted to run a system that really didn't work for the team, but he insisted to keep running it. I hope we can now get a defensive minded head coach, we already have Kevin O'Neill who is good assistent coach and is defensive minded, if we had a head coach who would actually make the team play some defense, then I would be a happy man.

I also can't wait until Darko comes back, we are really missing him right now. Who'd of thought it? We're actually missing Darko. He was playing great before his injury and was a great player to have coming off the bench and playing some solid defense behind Gasol.
