If they don't boo you, they don't fear you. Like others in this thread have said, it's a sign of respect. LeBron and the Utah crowd have never had any personal altercations or anything like that. No history of meaningful games against one another, so it's just your garden variety booing that takes place at NBA arenas on a nightly basis. It's just the fans way of trying to get into the game and the tried/true tradition for thinking that booing will actually negatively impact the performance of a player.
