And the Panthers lost to the Vikings. Panthers also played a totally one-dimensional Falcons team and got beat badly. And they barely beat a Tampa team that couldn't score on an empty field the 1st 2 weeks. But its too early to say who is better than who. Even though the schedules tell me that the Panthers will most likely be playing on the road again in January. Bears and Seahawks have little competition in their divisions. Falcons and Saints will be in the South race all year long.

PS: Panthers D-line gets a lot deserved hype but I'd rate the Bears as their equal. Both are excellent.

Bears are a lock, great defense...as long as they stay healthy, they're in...got a weak division.

The Eagles offense is better than the Giants, though it is explosive. Eli may be the best young QB, but McNabb is still better. Yeah, the Eagles may have lost their game to the Giants, but they dominated that game so well early on and it took so much flukish bullsh*t for the Giants to comeback, that while you can't discount the win, you can't discount the Eagles as a dominating team because of that flukish loss.

They lost Kearse, but they have guys that can make up for that loss. Very deep D-line.

And as for their closing-inabilities that Gobb brought up, I think you can blame a lot of that on that banged up corner spot. I mean Lito goes out in the first series of the first game, but will be back soon and Hood is probably as good as Lito, but he's been in and out of games with his heel.

People came in expecting their defense to carry them to a championship, but their offense looks like the best in the league and have had 3 guys mentioned as early MVP (McNabb, Westbrook, Donte). They just need to commit to running a little bit more, they've had a lot of success doing it though. Except that freakin fumble by Westbrook

They're strong defensively on every level, and only the Seahawks and Giants (still inconsistent though) can hang with them offensively.

That performance by the Falcons last night sorta put some doubts in my mind, but Im not going to count them out either. They need Lelie to step up though aswell as their pass blocking. And the jury is out on the Panthers

Falcons have no chance against a good defense. All you have to do to stop them is stack the line and cover Crumpler. Vick will be running for his life when his safety valve TE isn't there. Saints played it to perfection last night. It only took 3 weeks to figure out their semi-option offense. Tampa and Carolina didn't defend it well because they never saw it extensively before.

Well like I said, their Oline and WRs have to step up. Watching last night, that passing game had 0 chance whatsoever. Their guys werent getting lose at all, and guys were in the back field 1-2 seconds after Vick dropped back. Then guys were dropping passes. Lelie needs to show that he can be a number 1 by getting his ass open.

It looked like yesterday they were going to try and show off their passing attack, they didn't even really try and run too much yesterday after they got down early. Didn't work. But their running game is going to still be strong and lead the league. Their D sorta maybe kinda sucked last night too. missing Abraham

They played with an option for most of the Bucs game and a part of the Panthers game. That's why Vick had huge games. They've gone away from the west-coast offense also.

Yeah only because of Chris Gamble's stupidity, and all the injuries. This is football, Atlanta played amazing against Carolina 1st week...they looked horrible last night against NO. Carolina WHEN healthy is a more talented team then Chicago anyone with half a brain can see that, Carolina got a much better offense and just as good of a defense. I'd like to see how Chicago does without Urlacher in the middle, it's kind of irritating that we miss arguably our two most important players on offense and defense.

Smith is our leader on offense....Morgan is not the best defensive player we have but because we're so vulenarable at the LB position due to other injuries and young LB's...we really can't afford to miss Morgan. I'd rather miss Peppers or Jenkins because we're alot deeper at the DL then LBs...and no, Chicago's defensive line is not better then Carolina...so please stop there, I'm starting to laugh at this crap.

Peppers & Jenkins alone is worth more then Chicago's entire defensive line...

Regarding TB, they're still a good team and they were at home...fighting for their lives, score board says TB scored 24 points...17 of them were off turnovers (fumbles) because our injury prone OL couldn't protect Delhomme.

Chicago barely beat Minnesota (healthy mind you) and beat two weak ass teams...and apparently they'll go 16-0?

Say what want but keep your mouth shut after Sunday Night. You can doubt the Monsters of the Midway all you want. But reality is going to slap you upside the head like the Sandman very soon. You can't run from the truth. Soldier Field has the best fans on the planet. The Bears are ready for the next step. The Chicago Bears are ready to take the flag from the Seahawks. And they're going to reign down on them like a firestorm straight out of the Bible this weekend on National Television. Just you wait.
