He talks out of his ass a lot. He much rather prefers people that lead us into depression than a guy that only advocates balancing a budget and leading a benign empire in harsh economic times.
I'm not saying Paul shouldn't be heard or anything of that sort. But the man is 73, his career in public service can't have much time left. Someone who follows much of his philosophy who isn't going to be 77 in the next presidential race needs to be found and start being pushed if you want a somewhat formidable third party candidate the next time around.

My point is you say Obama is all rhetoric, no substance when he already has done more than Ron Paul ever has and ever will for the country. Ron Paul looks like the one who is all rhetoric, no substance to me, all he ever seems to do is talk.
