1] Los Angeles Clippers - Greg Monroe (Georgetown)
While the Clippers might be stacked up front with Marcus Camby, Zach Randolph, Chris Kaman and have a solid prospect already in DeAndre Jordan, Monroe's potential is too much to pass up, as is the possibility of a fully developed Jordan-Monroe combination up front to replace the current Randolph-Camby duo.

My work here is done.

76ers add a guard with a solid outside shot and good athleticism.

A little inaccurate with the "solid outside shot". I think we're done with getting all these athletic wings. Iguodala, Young, just got rid of Carney. Sixers are set on the wings and young big men (Dalembert-27, Speights-20, Jason Smith-21). They'll most likely go after a PG since Miller could leave them this summer. Even if he stays, Lou Williams isn't a real point guard for his replacement.

And would the T-Wolves want Teague with Foye playing so well? Besides that it's not bad.

I would be mildly pleased if the Wizards got Griffin (by the way, is it really too much to ask for this franchise to draft a game changing talent, it's been almost 40 years since they've had one, I think they're due).

I really doubt that the Thunder are going to use another lottery pick on a long, athletic, unskilled big man. Harden would be perfect for them since they have a huge hole at SG.

I was thinking that a few days ago. What they need is a legit 5 or 2 right now and really none of the big men in this draft fit the role as a legit center, so why not just go after the other hole that they have in their line up, if one of the more talented players is supposed to be there.

Where's DeJuan Blair? He's going to make some team extremely happy with his rebounding, effort and tenacity. I guess his height can hurt him, but he's got a 7'3 arm span, so that is going to turn quite a few heads, especially when he's only 6'7.

I just don't see the clipps getting the #1 overall, i think they are going to start playing better and get seme more wins in the 2nd half of the season, i foresee the okc gettin the #1 overall and like the bullies last year they are going to grab the hometown hero, and the rest is my forecast in how the league is going to turn out.

1. okc- blake griffen (okc is going to get the first pick and there getting the hometown kid, him durant, green, westbrook will make this a dangerous team in about 1 1/2 yrs)

2. Wiz- Greg monroe (this is the worst team in the league with no inspiration, but they get the big man with the biggest upside, and try to rebuild around him and gilbert)

3. Clippers (to Phx) - James Harden (they will draft him for the suns, while the suns get a hometown product who the suns will start rebuilding around, and the clipps get shaq flowing like im going going back back to cali cali)

4. SacKings- Brandon Jennings (ultra talented pass first pg that will become a immediate star on the next level, his time in europe will have humbled him and he's goin to explode when the kings give him the freedom to do whatever he wants)

5. Memphis- Hasheem thabeet (they select the best big man available with the biggest upside, in a few years this team will be a force to be reckoned with)

6. G state- Jordan hill (they are loaded at the wings, so they get super athletic jordan hill who will compliment nelsons run and gun pace)

7. Toronto- Demar Derozan (they are gonna take a gamble at the young super athletic sg who oozes potential, but it looks like the gamble will turn out to be a huge mistake)

8. Indiana - Alforouq Aminu (they get a athletic versitile combo foward who could do all the little stuff the pacers desparately need)

9. Bobcats - Bj Mullins (they get a solid 7 footer with a nice touch who once was the #1 player in the nation, but will quickly realize why he isn't the #1 player anymore, he's going to be another bust and another wasted draft pick for the cats)

10. Nets- Gani Lawai (they get a athletic front court player they need to compliment brooks)

11. Knicks- Stephen Curry (they get a unbelievable scorer in curry altho not the prototypical pg in dantoni's system but will quickly develop into one, and will have a tremendous career under dantoni)

12. Bucks - Darren collison (this is a bit of a stretch but they desperately need a pg especially with skiles under control, no team was willing to trade down with them as teams are trying to avoid the mid first round area, they will be lookin for another trade to land psycho TEE as this is the player skiles covets the most!)

13. Twolves - Earl clark (they go with the best talent available and will be looking for a trade involving mike miller, they desperately need a real pg but lawson might be a stretch at 13)

14. Bulls - Gerald Henderson (they too were looking to trade down but couldn't as they are coveting dajuan blair, but they do take gordons future replacement, henderson will be a defensive specialist and will grow slowly but surely on the offensive end)

I'd like the Thunder to grab Ty Lawson with one of those later picks from Denver and San Antonio. Thabeet is a solid pick for the Thunder at #4 him and Ibaka will be a good team once Ibaka gets back from playing in Spain. As for Omri Casspi I can't say if I agree or disagree, I haven't seen him play enough to form an opinion. I had Thunder taking James Johnson at that pick, they have more of a need at SF if they take Thabeet and Ibaka are there for the 2009 season.

Monroe is a bold pick at #1 but I like it.

I really think you should take a look at Tony Gaffney because from what I've seen this year from him is he might be the best offensive but he can play. He hustles and let's face it what team doesn't need a guy to hustle for the lose ball and at 6'8" to avg 4+ blocks, 2+ steals, and 10+ boards that's pretty decent although offensively he is a little stagnant. He could fit on any team really so I really hope some teams at least give him a look even it's just a summer league thing. And let's be honest post work can be taught in the NBA look at Perkins he came and and really couldn't score at all and still can't but he is getting comfortable now. And Tony has a chance to work on his Jumper cause in high school it wasn't that bad.

I haven't actually seen him play, decent numbers on a decent team - little undersized to be playing the 4 or 5 in the NBA though, especially at 208 pounds -

Gaffney is a good college player, but I think he is an NBDL guy.

Looking at the Thunder, I think they could go a few different ways. Durrant can play SF/SG, Green can play SF/PF, and Westbrook can play PG/SG, so they really could fit in anything. Griffin and Monroe would fit in at forward with Green, Thabeet would be a nice pickup at center, and Rubio and Harden would be nice fits next to Westbrook. I do agree that they should grab a backup point later in the draft if they are going with Westbrook at the point, and there should be plenty available. Maybe Lawson, but they will also look at Patty Mills, Collison, Willie Warren, and the guy I really like, Curtis Jerrells.
