too bad every other magazine predicts the same second round defeat to Miami.
seriously, Miami got lucky in that semifinals round.
Carter blew Games 3 and 4 with critical final second turnovers. sure they were mental mistakes, but those are not the kind of things Miami could force.
moreover, in Game 5, Nets were on a rampage, but a phantom foul call gave Wade the free throws to clinch it.
comon RJ and Carter both go for 33 and the Nets lose 106-105 on Wade fouls. go figure.
had the Nets won one at home, then won that thriller in Miami, the series would look different.
