They may lose a lot of games, but if last year's kings made the playoffs after a really bad start, memphis may have a chance this year.

Memphis was already starting the year at the bottome of the hill. Now they just got there legs broken. They really have no chance of climbing the hill to get to the playoffs.

sacremento also got rtest to turn the team around.

My question to grizz fans is why the hell would you want to make the playoffs this year? Its not even remotely likely that they would make it to the second round if they did make the playoffs. If you do bad this season, you get a high pick in a deep draft...maybe that could turn your team into something serious instead of just a shaky playoff team.

The grizzlies could pull a san antonio from some years back and just tank the season like they did. Nobody really beat up on the spurs for telling D Robinson to keep sitting in the suit til the following year. This draft is deep as hell coming up. Even if Pau was there he need help to win ONE playoff game anyway. So jerry should just keep him in the suit and tie. Unless the Griz don't have their first round pick this year.

The grizz have there pick but it does not matter with pau out first three legit months. The grizz are done ne ways. There pick will probably be in top 8.They want get oden but they dont need him.I mean it would be great but we can live without him. There are explosive players coming out.The grizz were already done but now there really done.

What r u talking about. The last couple of years everyone has said there overrated and there right. They have a nice record but that gets them no where. They might beat the top teams in west once. But once the playoffs come they fold like an old wallet. There is no fight in this team.At least now they have an in house excuse to have a bad year.Pau being hurt and trading there face for a new explosive body. The girzz werent goin to make playoffs this year with pau healthy now there gonna be lotto for sure.

I would say the Grizzlies are toast for this season not only because of Pau but
with the ownership questions hanging in the air like a dark cloud. And Houston and New Orleans have loaded up during the off season. The Grizz will be doing good to win 35 games. The positives are that the younger guys will get to develop and they should get a good lottery pick for next year.
