Arrow 2009 All Star Game - pregame talk

First off all, I don't know if I'm too old, but, jerseys are ****in killin me. They look bad, tho not as bad as last years garbages, and therefore I already know that will devalue enjoyment from the game for me.

Secondly, all homers stand back, but I have this SERIOUS hunch, that there will be a MAJOR stat padding game going on between Kobe and LeCrab.

I think I'm right because they're in some dead MVP race and media is basically spotlighting on them a lot therefore I wouldn't be surprised if coaches or "someone at higher instances" say to them to go at it.

What kind of game could we expect?

Loose exhibition? I don't think so. I'm east side till I die and I'm 100% sure East winning it, but what worries me is the appeal of the game.

I honestly don't see no one except Dwight pulling some consecutive in game moves on the East. James of course will dunk but I can almost place a bet that when players move away to let him dunk, if he dunks 3 times, 1 of those has to be on traveling violation. And you Cavs homers hate all you want, but you know it's true.

Look at West.

Kobe - he could go stat padding. He could go shooting the ball with 23,9 seconds on the shot clock. He could easily pull up for 20 shots. In 20 minutes. But - possibly he can dish off some vintage funky pass like he used to do back when he was not spoiled like today.

Amare.......................... Yao?

Duncan is a great ball player but not All Star type, he doesn't play the super attractive game you could say...

Paul has to be the guy with all the possessions, if he doesn't, Imma fly out and commit a violent martial arts acts there on every West player there...

East side...

James with highest possibility of turning this into his own shooting practice / drive to the hoop. Eventually at one point in the game he'll dunk the ball and if Marc Jackson is on the mic he will probably spazz out and start saying some prayers backwards and say to us how that was the craziest dunk he ever saw. Traveling violations will occur on multiple occasions, and wont be called even once.

Garnett isn't exactly what he used to be. And I will go berserk if I see him going for 15 feet fadeaways 3 times in a row. And that's exactly what he'll do. He may pull some vintage KG slick move. I don't know.

Howard will laugh the whole game and beast. Few blocks. I will go out on a limb here and say he'll send the ball to the stands once. He will dunk a lot. At least I hope he does.

Wade will actually be fun to watch. He's the only player on the East Side to have speed, footwork, dribbling skills and some slick moves. He will do some borderline And1 move. I'm actually looking forward to see him play.

Iverson. Well, contrary to popular belief, he isn't the douche to come to the All Star game and shoot it all the time, he will probably be one of the most creative players there. Hell, he might even dunk it on a breakaway.

All in all.......................it will be an average All Star game at best, East Side winning, Kobe or Bron will fight for the MVP just like Bron fought for that pivotal rebound in Madison Square Garden, they will high 5 themselves before the game like they're BFF's and the crowd will feel very touched by that beautiful NBA comradary with oohs and ahhs, and then they'll turn the game, or at least the last 2 quarters into their own personal game. Which sucks because it does and I would rather see NBA organize 1-on-1 to them.
