true but still less than marion. i mean...im not sure diaw can play at the level he does for the suns in other systems on other teams. maybe other fast teams like the warriors or raptors but geez i hope for the suns sake he doesnt think he'll get a beter deal than marion. suns cant afford that and hes not worth that.
Boris is a good player with a very big future, but Marion is the best player in his position.
If I were the GM of the team, I wouldn't doubt in renew Shawn.
Good.

i think diaw might be the better choice. hes cheaper and possibly even better fitted to the suns fast play than marion
Bad!
Somehow i think that you always have to defend marion and his game when in insidehoops forum and also in phoenix threads (hard to say that as a suns fan) Maybe i just feel like that but looks like marion is underated everywhere. He is the best player in his position and the best player in SUNS roster. Nash has the ball and he runs the team, but Marion makes everything else. Nash only has a great courtvision, and he is best in that. Marion rebounds, scores, blocks, runs, and plays always with 110%, and don't forget, he does it while defending the best player from other team.
i was watching a Larry Bird vid and i found some real similarities between them... their hustle!!!! the just put their body on the line to save the ball... fantastic to watch... tahts gonna be valuable for the team...

It's difficult to compare the two. They both bring things that the other lacks. I would have full confidence in Boris to take over for Marion, but that doesn't mean I would want it to happen.
You'll have to choose one at the end of the season because Diaw's contract will expire and extending him is not going to be cheap, and with the Suns already extending Barbosa's contract they'll have to choose between Marion and Diaw, because the Suns don't want to pay the luxury tax.
