i dont mean to burst any bubbles or nothing, but this signing doesnt make u guys a 50+ win team at all. it really depends on which Bonzi is going to show up night in, night out. if it's the hustling, rebounding, and dominating Bonzi we saw in the playoffs, then yeah u got a 50+ win team right there. But if you get the lazy, problem-child bonzi that was in Memphis, houston we have a problem.

we were a 50+ team(if healthy) before bonzi. if he's a problem, he can sit on the bench. i see him as a nice bit of insurance. there is only upside to this deal.

If Yao and T-Mac stays healthy, Bonzi or no Bonzi, we are still a 50 win team (at least). Even though Bonzi, and Battier is significant, T-Mac and Yao makes and breaks our season.

I'd rather have a U of H win over U of Miami.

If healthy the Rockets are right there with the Suns, Mavs, and Spurs.

And if they play Battier at 4 they finally have a line-up that won't be crushed by the Suns fast break.

Battier at 4 will also guard Nowitzki better than most.

No way that **** will fly with Duncan though
Yao couldn't handle him either.
Neither can Juwan

Rockets are gonna have a problem against athletic/talented low-post big-men.
Still, no team is perfect and they have so much going for them right now.

And have you ever witnessed Shane Battier and Bonzi Wells play basketball? They don't do much of the same thing. One shoots 3s, hustles, focuses on defense, making the right play, and has a great attitude. One has a mediocre jump-shot, is a powerful slasher, decent in the post, crashes the glass, kind of stupid, and has had serious attitude problems (former jailblazer).
